I have stayed here 5 times and never regretted it. Most recently, I arrived at their check-in desk hoping for a last-minute booking after a bad experience at a different hotel. The desk clerk, Patty, was helpful and understanding and provided everything I needed to turn a bad experience into a lovely stay. All the rooms are nice. I recommend the one with the spa tub overlooking the koi pond or a ground-floor room if you want to be close to the pool, which is a lovely spot to swim or just relax on a chaise lounge in the shade The breakfast area is pleasant and there are a variety of hot and cold choices: eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles you make yourself; bagels, toast, muffins; oatmeal and cold cereal. Good coffee.

We stayed at this property while traveling through CA. It's one of the nicer Hampton's I've seen for awhile. The check in agent was very friendly, our room was clean and comfortable, and there's a decent fitness center. The pool area is very nice, offering some shady areas. The breakfast service was standard Hampton but was very well done. We recommend

Clean and updated. Quiet poolside room on 2nd floor. The staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast and pool area were wonderful and the pond is a beautiful touch. Very relaxing and close to everything we needed in Ukiah. Plenty of free parking as well

Our room's air conditioner did not work and it was over 100 degrees outside and they could not change us to comparable room. Pool only open 9-9. They should have never have rented us the room in the first place!

This location makes a convenient stop for our trip north, so we stayed here again this year. We had a generously sized room with two queen beds and a balcony and the extra sink/mirror outside the bathroom—a nice feature. We walked a long way to our room which may be difficult for some, but it was fine for us and quiet. I like the cabinet that holds the 'fridge, microwave and pull out shelves. No trouble parking and many restaurants nearby to walk to. The one we tried last time was closed so we walked the short distance to La Cocina, a small casual place serving Mexican food. The staff was friendly and the food very tasty. The hotel breakfast is ordinary and crammed in a small area which makes filling your plate tricky. We did that and ate at tables in the lobby area. Overall this hotel is clean and feels safe.

I’m extremely disappointed with this stay. My parents and I booked identical rooms in late January/early February. We checked in and when we got to our rooms, we realized my parents had been downgraded. We compared our booking confirmations and Hilton apps, and sure enough they were moved to a smaller room on the louder side of the building, however their reservation in the app still showed the same room rate. We went downstairs to speak with the front desk agent, and he said that they had been downgraded because a guest had booked a 3-month stay in the room they had booked. He said that they had “no idea how this happened” and that his manager approved an adjustment to their room rate, but he had forgotten to mention the downgrade upon check-in. However, at check-in, he did remember to say that the fireplace in their room did not work. (As a side note – the fireplace in my room did work, however it turned on by itself twice during the middle of the night after not having used it. I believe the knob might be broken.) Their AC unit also woke up my dad every time it turned on with a knocking sound – maintenance should look into that. So, their room type was downgraded, they were moved to the louder side of the building, and they couldn’t even be placed in a room with functioning equipment?? I understand that sometimes rooms are overbooked, and that member status might take precedence, but the lack of communication seemed deceitful. Were they hoping no one would notice? Would the room rate have actually been adjusted had we not gone downstairs to speak with someone? I worked at a Marriott property for years and whenever there was a change that had to be made to a guest’s accommodations, timely communication and up-front honesty were emphasized, along with appropriate guest-retention efforts, even for bottom-tier members – none of which happened for my parents.

We really looked forward to our stay as it seemed to have all the amenities that we were seeking. More specifically a hot tub and pool. When we arrived, both were closed for "maintenance". This should have been posted on their web site. If these are important to you during your stay, call the hotel directly to ask before you book. The room was nice but there was only one chair and a rolling chair for the computer table. There was an entire corner of the room that was empty and would have fit a second chair and a table. The balcony was nice but only one plastic chair and small plastic table. Problem is, there were two of us. Breakfast had a lot of variety but not overly impressive. The coffee was lukewarm and the bacon thin and flavorless. However, it was included with the room rate. Although it had the things that we look for in a hotel, for this experience we could have stayed at another property for far less.

Check in was completed online, but we efficiently arranged for a 1st floor room after arrival. Hotel lobby was very clean, along with clean hallways. Our room appeared to have new paint and new carpet. The entire room was very clean. Breakfast was typical Hampton fare, with the nice addition of a microwave in the kitchen area. Beautiful courtyard with gated pool and hot tub, and very clean waterfall and coy ponds. This would have been a 5 rating with the exception of the very noisy heat/AC unit on the exterior wall. And the beds were comfortable but very creaky. Good stay.
