Seethanadi Nature Camp-Jungle Lodges

Had a fantastic stay for 4 days. The AC cottage was very comfortable.The staff is very co-operative. I want to specifically mention Sushant because of whom, we managed to sight the malabar pit wiper & malabar flying frog right next to the cottages. The guide for the nature walks did not speak hindi or english which was a drawback. The food was very good except that we had egg masala for 4 days for lunch. Agumbe ghat is easily accessable from the nature camp.Varanga Lake Jain Temple is also close by . Do not miss to pick up sweets from Holige Bhatru at Hebri. The overall experience was vey good. I would recommed atleast a 2 days stay for someone who wants to unwind.

A great place to stay. Rooms are big with big washrooms and premium fittings. Water flow is also good. Special mention to the staffs who cooks and serve buffets. They all took good care of the guests. Food & snacks served was also good. In the middle of forest they do have internet facility available for every room. As its BSNL, connection was not stable, but this is what best you can get. At night, they do provide power backup if power goes off. Would recommend this property and might stay again.

Wonderful experience staying with nature. Excellent staff, very polite and flexible. Would definitely recommend to whoever is looking for a peaceful environment and to experience nature away from city life.

Our stay in Seethanadhi was very memorable and rejuvenating. Cherish our early morning nature trail and exploring Seethanadhi in coracle . Ravi is a true naturalist. He made the nature trails so interesting. He has immense knowledge on flora and fauna . Highly recommend nature trail with Ravi . Ravi also recommended us some great places to explore around the area.. Food was very homely and tasty . Ramesh and chandrashekar always made sure to give us the best food spread . Manager Devraj is very kind and helpful making sure we are comfortable throughout our stay . Overall entire staff in Seethanadhi nature camp are very hospitable and quite friendly. We enjoyed interacting with each one of them . Highly recommend to all our family and friends to visit this camp .

If you need to rela and unwind for a day or 2 , look no further. the nature camp is a hidden gem located in the heard of the Someshwara forest reserve. What worked- Location - Although in the middle of a dense forest it is just 500 mts from the main road. The Seetha nadi by the side makes it a great location Food- Is prepared esp for the residents and hence always fresh. Although the spread is not huge, but it was nice and delicious. Rooms: Very decent, 3 star. We stayed in the AC cottages. The bathroom was huge and very clean. Surprisingly no mosquitoes ! Activities- Coracle ride, a bon fire before dinner, a nature walk for 1 hr in the morning, dipping your feet for a fish spa at the river side, hammocks ... Staff- All were polite and soft spoken. Thumbs up for each of them What could have been better- Frequent power cuts. However it would be beyond their control. But they do have a DG set but it took time to turn it on as it was not automatic Minor irritants like force of the shower/sprinkler, no fish availability i guess can be overlooked. All in all, was surprised that government lodges can be so good ! Would surely be back again. The family loved every moment and carried back happy memories for a life time. Thanks again to Ravi, Prabhat and rest of the staff including the cook.
