The most comfortable area in Udaipur is undoubtedly around Lake Pichola. I chose the most beautiful hotel with lake view from the website. It arrived at 5pm. The waiter led me across the courtyard to the room. This white hotel and beautiful decoration everywhere made me overjoyed. But the bigger surprise is still behind. The roof of the hotel is a huge platform with a swimming pool, a tea table and a dining table. Looking out is a beautiful lake view, and my room is arranged on the top floor, which means that I It is very convenient to enjoy the most beautiful scenery of Udaipur.         This Jagat Niwas Palace Hotel is also transformed from Haveli. The most attractive place of the hotel is their location.The serenity that this location holds surely with perfect lake view makes this place worth staying.

I was checked in room no.117 on 29 December for a day's stay. I have only one grievance about this hotel which is regarding a warm water bath in December cold. I waited for warm water in the bath room as the tap kept open for 10 minutes around 6 'o' clock on 29th morning. Then called the front desk for help. He said they have switched on the system and hot water will be available within 5 minutes. Waited another 10 minutes. When I picked up the phone again , he asked me to keep the tap open for another five minutes. This was successful. But water was not falling properly through the shower. shower holes were filled with mud. I cursed the hotel. A horrible experience in a wellnown hotel because of the poor maintannce. Room temperature also was erratic. Room and both room wwere not properly lighted. A wonderul property spoiled by poor maintanance. One compement for the hotel- Good breakfast.

The stay was wonderful. Hotel is pretty neat and clean and the restaurant offers a wide range of food ( veg only. The bar is also at the roof top offering a scenic view of the city. The staff at the restaurant (especially chanda) was very helpful as she took great care of our baby while doing her duties so that we could have our lunch properly. Overall a pleasant stay. Would like to come again with family.

Great price/quality. + The rooftop bar and restaurant are so beautiful. + The breakfast selection is quite extensive and they make lattes on request. Among the better ones we've had in India. + The location is great, right where you want to be with some pretty good food options close by. +/- The rooms are pretty cool but a bit rundown. +/- The food, trips, and pick up service are more expensive than alternatives in the area.
