Samosir Villa Resort Reviews

Everyday same breakfast buffet for 3 days without any change. Kind of bore. Nice scenery. No 24 hrs rooom service. Shower head spoil when check in. Repaired. Spoil again after 1 day

I like samosir…the view so nice..the staff also good.. We arrive at Somosir Villa at 7:30pm…our car’s window unable to close.. then we ask the staff where we can find workshop to fix this issue.. then the staff said workshop close at night but he offer to help monitor our car.. he shows the cctv around the area and convince us not to worry..at the night around 2pm, the rain coming.. heavy rain.. i woke up and look at our car..i saw the staff already put plastic to cover window from rainning…thanks god they have responsible staff like this.. unfortunately i forget asking his name..

If you get a room near to the lake then u have to carry the bags by using staircase Look many steps down and up

Everything is good, but some little things missed to be noticed

Had a nice time staying at this resort. The resort was clean, strategic location, also with a good view of lake toba. Highly recommended

Nice view from the resort n can direct jump into the lake ,but breakfast might be need to provide more choices

Fantastic views, good breakfast. Some of the staff were disinterested in answering our questions about the island, tours, and bike rentals. But Lisa was very helpful and kind.

Nice location and meeting families requirement.

The resort is with nice lake view. Room is very spacious. Furnitures are very old and run down. The bathroom stink and the shower head cracked. The resort compound surrounded by nature and beautiful Lake Toba scenery. Food at the restaurant is good and affordable

The service is a bit slow, there is a need to put in safeguards from all the steep stairs.

The hotel is located on a hillside/slope. The reception is on the top where one gets drop off. If you have mobility problem, its crucial to request for room on the lobby level. We were alocated a room facing the lake, on the lowest section. Its beautiful sunrise view and the water is few steps below our room. The issue is when we needed something (I was very sick), there is no tel /intercom in the room (or our floor level- nothing we seen). So one of us had to walked in the rain to go to the reception. The staffs were friendly and helpful. The room is sparse but with aircond and hot water shower. Perhaps the management will consider removing the white pendant light to replace with something softer for the eyes when one is in bed. Otherwise, the room is comfortable.
