It was a very pleasant stay in this old monastery that was transformed into a hotel. There are only about 12 rooms and the Standard room is quite small but with a comfortable bed and very nice smell. The property has a stunning multi layered garden and a beautiful infinity pool woth views onto Tropea. Tropea is within walking distance from the hotel but about 12min away.
Everything was great but personally the breakfast was quite simple and selection is limited. I'm not a big breakfast eater but just wanted to highlight it as some people value a 5 star breakfast buffet.
Staff is very friendly and helpful and overall the property is very well kept in shape. Definitely the best address in this area.

“Posto davvero incantevole, immerso in una cornice unica. Peccato per la cucina: piatti molto curati nei dettagli ma poco sostanziosi e dal gusto discutibile. Colazione praticamente inesistente: nemmeno un cornetto o una semplice fetta di torta. Un luogo così bello meriterebbe una proposta gastronomica più appagante e generosa.”

L’estate scorsa ci eravamo stati solo a cena ,nonostante fosse buio la location ci era sembrata eccezionale . Quest’anno abbiamo deciso di passarci qualche giorno e veramente tutta la struttura è bellissima, il panorama mozzafiato specialmente al tramonto, con il chiostro interno colmo di piante da frutto ( abbiamo raccolto pompelmi e limoni buonissimi), il verde che circonda tutta la villa è veramente rilassante. Camere molto curate ed ampie, ho molto apprezzato l’attenzione per l’ambiente con prodotti per l’igiene personale non in flaconcini piccoli ma dispenser in vetro ricaricabili con saponi e creme profumatissimi. La colazione è servita all’aperto con vista mare ,abbiamo gradito il fatto che vengano usati prodotti locali di qualità, cena degustazione spettacolare. Un ringraziamento particolare a tutto il personale per la gentilezza e la professionalità ma soprattutto grazie a Eleonora ( Resident Manager) che ci ha fatto sentire speciali.

Great views of Tropea downtown perched on cilff, sea, port, and mountains along the coast line. Serene and large room reminiscing monastery residence. Friendly staff eager to give service. Have to drive to downtown for heartful dinner.

Staff was most friendly and very informative, especially Luis. Wonderful food and amazing views. Close enough to walk to the center for some great shopping but far enough away to get peace and tranquility.

Great spot and staff. Fantastic views. 15 minute walk into town which is fantastic and very walkable. Again, beautiful views everywhere and lots of dining options. I highly recommend this property and staff.
