This is a 9th century palazzo straight up from the sea. It’s amazing in all respects, including our hosts! Stay there if you can.

A truly idyllic stay in one of the most beautiful hotels in Tropea. Everything was just awesome. The rooms are very quaint and cosy. The breakfast was a very good spread including local delicacies served on the terrace with breathtaking sea views . Rosa was always very attentive and ready to serve with a smile. The front of house both Francesca and Saverio were super accommodating especially during our few days with a cold, had arranged a local doctors appointment as well as catering from a nearby restaurant. Highly recommended stay in Tropea! We would love to come back again soon one day and enjoy it all again! Roof top sunsets were spectacular!

Great view. We stayed in the nicest suite. Lovely breakfast. Unfortunately the room above ours was occupied by complete ****** that must have been clog dancers. They started clog dancing at 7 in the morning till 8 and again in the afternoon around 3 to 4. Do not rent the second floor suite because you can hear every and I mean every food step from the people above you. Of course it would help if they didn't wear hard shoes. I have posted a photo of the ceiling from our bedroom so you can see.

Ho scelto Palazzo Mottola dopo aver visto " 4 hotel". Beh.....se qualcuno non crede ai reality si deve ricredere: se ha vinto, il motivo c'é. Quando arrivi ti viene offerto quello che vuoi su un balcone vista mare che lascia senza fiato il viaggiatore piu' navigato.....perche' mentre fotocopiano i tuoi documenti e portano i bagagli in camera, tu possa capire come verrai coccolato. La camera era insonorizzata e curatissima: climatizzazione( non aria condizionata ), biancheria in percalle con logo blu, 2 tipi di phon, set cortesia con protezioni solari e contorno occhi, lista guanciali e .....ricarica batteria universale con logo..... Unico, indimenticabile l' aperitivo all' ultimo piano: mare e battere di campane di antiche chiese...... Bello, stupendo.....

Tropea e Palazzo Mottola, mi sono rimasti nel cuore.....e dopo anni ho sentito il bisogno di tornarci. La citta' si e' arricchita di eventi, attivita', installazioni, pavimentazioni e cura.... Palazzo Mottola resta un posto dove sentirsi a casa, ma viziati e seguiti - con discrezione attenta e diligente- da uno staff sensibile , pronto a prendersi cura di te per ogni cosa. Graditissima la borsa mare " logata" con i teli spiaggia, il carica- batteria per apple.....e stupende le ciabattine mare diverse per uomo e donna....un vero stra- lusso..... La prima colazione, gia' superba, si e' ulteriormente arricchita con le " ricette di una volta": grazie per le meravigliose polpette di melanzane .....mio ricordo e richiesta alla Sig.ra Rosa.... Insomma......cosa volere di piu'?????

Palazzo Mottola è meraviglioso,curato in ogni dettaglio,non ho mai dormito così bene nella mia vita! Il lusso è ovunque: dalla vista fino alla doccia oversize ( dove entrano 8 persone ) con soffioni giganti oltre a set di cortesia con crema occhi/mani,protezione solare. Incredibile la colazione di Rosa con polpette di melanzane,frittata ricotta e nduja,torte e marmellate fatte in casa e mille altri preparati Homemade ( pomodori ripieni,gateau di patate, peperoni e patate…). Un ringraziamento speciale a Saverio e Francesca che ci hanno permesso di festeggiare il nostro compleanno insieme agli amici sia a colazione sia al RoofTop…anche se la struttura è riservata agli ospiti in pernottamento. Grazie con tutto il cuore, sono stati giorni indimenticabili.

Palazzo Mottola is a small, quaint and lovely boutique hotel in Tropea with an amazing rooftop terrace where you will enjoy sipping on your sunset cocktails far away from the hustle and bustle of the nearby downtown area. Our room was comfortable, cozy , very well maintained and superclean. All staff members ( Francesca and Saverio at the front desk and Rosa at the breakfast buffet) are very attentive, and kind. Always helpful and available to give the right advice about restaurants and excursions. All the breakfast food was fresh and delicious with plenty of choices between sweet and savoury goodies. We can't wait to return!
