It was a pity as the hotel actually had a good property and I stayed in a one-bedroom suite which was modern and spacious. But service and clealiness were bad. Upon check in I noticed the poster of a top-floor restaurant with a good view so I asked the reception to book. She just gave me a cold rely without even checking 'it is fully book". I was curious so I booked online and it was available. I called the restaurant and they said my online booking was confirmed. So how could the ceception be so unhelpful. I went somewhere else instead though as I didn't see a point to eat where they didn't welcome us. When I took shower the soap dispenser broke and fell to the floor. Luckily it didn't hit my foot otherwise I would have been injured. When I told the reception the next morning, they didn't even apologize and just said they would fix it. I cam back to the hotel around 4 pm and my room was still not being cleaned and the soat dispenser hadn't been fixed. When the cleaning finished, they gave us only 2 set of towels while we paid for 3 people. When I asked the cleaning lady just said 'Usually we give only two but this is a special case where I would give you 3'. How could it be special when I already paid for 3 people !!!!! The check out was slow and they said they would need to check the room before giving me back my deposit which could take a day. I insited it was unaccaeptable as other hotel would check right away so they sent someone up to check and returned my deposit. For this whole Norway trip, I have recommended other hotels in other cities to many people but certainly not this one.

Amazing facilities and lovely staff. They gave me a free upgrade and also complimentary chocolate and a lovely hand written note waiting in the room. Would highly recommmend! The room itself was incredibly clean and big. The bed was insanely comfortable and large too.

Gorgeous hotel! Perfect location, spotlessly clean, and beautifully modern, all set in a truly lovely environment with a gorgeous view & an easy walk into town for dinner / drinks / shopping / tours etc. It had everything we needed and exceeded our expectations in every way – the spa is such a treat & breakfast with a stunning view each morning was just brilliant! It was our first time visiting Tromsø, and thanks to this hotel, it certainly won’t be our last! One of our all-time favourite trips—highly recommend! The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. So sad to leave, but already looking forward to coming back someday!

All the staff were friendly and welcoming. The apartment was great and even the welcome gift in the room of a bar of excellent Norwegian chocolate. Spa was great as was the buffet breakfast and dinner. I would recommend it and Tromso to anyone looking for a great holiday.
