This is our second stay at Amaroo and it certainly wont be the last. from the minute you make your booking until you leave to come home you are welcomed with open arms! The room had a great ocean view and every facility we could need, in the grounds there is a great pool also a barbeque undercover with lots of tables and chairs. Amaroo is just a few steps from the local Trinity Beach tavern for great meals plus the other restaurants just a few more steps further on. once again I would highly recommend Amaroo for a stay

Excellent communication from the moment we booked until we returned home. Wonderful location & so lovely and quiet. The views from the balcony is perfection. There is extra attention to details like the terrific set up around the bbq (not that we used it because you are spoiled for choice with nearby restaurants) We will definitely be back. We were really lucky with our studio at Amaroo. A lot of apartments around Cairns and Port Douglas were fully booked. I hadn’t realised it was a really busy season. This was the last available apartment at Amaroo, which in itself looked lovely, but I wasn’t sure about the size of the studio. No need to worry, it was perfectly suited for two, with a very efficient layout. As an added bonus, we had a view of the mountains (as advertised) as well as the ocean. We loved having our coffee on the balcony, looking at the waves. There was a laundry room on our floor, a lovely heated pool, a tennis court, ample parking space, and you’re a very short walk away from one of the most gorgeous beaches I’ve ever seen. And Kym’s a great host! We had a great time at Amaroo, would definitely recommend.

Amaroo is just excellent. Clean, well maintained with beautiful ocean views. Centrally located- great facilities and helpful staff. We stayed there with our toddler and the only very tiny drawback was the very thin travel mattress for the cot- essentially bubba was sleeping on the floor with not much between which felt a bit unfair next to our large super comfy bed. Other than this tiny thing our stay was great. The pool is the perfect temp too! We would stay here again

So I have stayed at enough places to expect them to appear nothing like the photos…BUT THIS PLACE WAS OUTSTANDING!!! I stayed in a modern studio facing the ocean. It was spotless! And I am one for noticing dirty places. I walked in and just thought wow, finally a place that’s exactly what you booked and looks just like the photos. Bed was so comfy, great little kitchen, the building was so quiet, hardly occupied, and it so so convenient!!! I would recommend this place in a heartbeat if you want quiet, clean, sounds of the waves, nearby coffee shops and restaurants.

That staff were very accommodating and welcoming! Our room was incredible and we loved enjoying our breakfast on the balcony and having the door open with the sea breeze while we slept.
