This was a mistake. A big mistake. I went here because of the Lonely Planet-recommendation. Boy I was wrong. The hotel is just a brick building, a bit scary during the night. Tiles were loose, WiFi didn't have a password and was slow-working as well, and room wasn't very clean. But the worst part is the staff. When I arrived they didn't look really happy to see me. Had to carry my own bag - yeah I can manage fine on my own but just the question 'are you okay with your bag' would have been nice - and in the morning while checking out, the manager was whining like a baby when I gave him a 5000 rs-note because he didn't have change and he wanted ME to change it. Rotten luck. People in Sri Lanka I told this about were suprised. 'You paid 1600 rs and you didn't get any breakfeast?!' No people, I didn't. There are cheaper hotels which DO serve breakfast. Horrible staff, just because of the staff: Stay. Away!

The toilet room and bed linen were very dirty. No mosquito nets on windows. At night, the staff behaved very loudly and repaired something right in the courtyard of the hotel. I could not sleep all night. I understand that this is a cheap accommodation but this is not possible. It was a terrible night
