Seen better days ... First impression on entering the lobby was that the place is abandoned and not in operation. Then we heard a prison-style braying horn and some minutes later a person of appearance of construction worker come over and then ran away realising that Spanish is not our first language. Then a lady appeared who spoke no English either but tried to proceed with the check-in.
The facilities and the property itself are quite basic. Requires quite a lot of repairs - many fixtures are loose, broken or simply not working (i.e. the lock on the room doors - we were taking all belongings with us as every time when leaving the room).
On the positive side: the AC unit, while noisy, was very efficient and worked well.
