Really quirky and interesting place. Great service and helpful with lots of local knowledge. A short stroll to the CBD and the Townsville strand. Fantastic customer service, just mentioned we were off to Magnetic island early and our breakfast was bought to us the night before, so we could be on our way quickly.

My wife and I were on a rock climbing trip to Townsville and stayed at Coral Lodge for two nights. John was friendly and welcoming. The location is excellent, very close to the CBD and even closer to Castle Hill if you're after a bit of sport climbing. Not a fancy place but very fairly priced and exactly what I was after. I hope to be back,

Very old and tired guest house. Hosts were friendly and helpful and location great to walk to anywhere in Townsville city. Free off street parking. No ensuite, shared shower and toilet facilities and rooms very basic. Advertised as a B & B, however the breakfast was very, very basic and consisted of 2 slices of bread, butter, jams, packet of cornflakes, milk and juice in a basket. Kitchen facilities to prepare basket adequate and you could make a cuppa.

Les chambres et surtout les suites à l'étage sont très spacieuses, propres et bien équipées. Le petit déjeuner fourni est très bien. Le ménage est fait quotidiennement. L'environnement est calme. Ils ont accepté de garder nos gros sacs pendant notre séjour à Magnetic Island. Il y a plein de brochures et d'informations sur ce qu'il y a à faire. Je recommande et reviendrai avec plaisir ! Autrement le bâtiment est un peu défraîchi mais ça contribue à son charme. Le seul point faible est l'isolation phonique des chambres. Lorsque nous étions en bas on entendait les bruits de pas du dessus et les gens qui parlaient dans la cuisine à côté. Nous avons changé pour une suite à l'étage et c'était bien plus calme (juste le bruit quand les gens font leur check in /out). Pour seulement 15$ de plus, nous avions notre cuisine et notre salle de bain

This was a wonderful little place to stay for a few nights. John was very attentive and extremely welcoming which made the place have a great feel. The breakfast basket every morning was a lovely touch. Everything you need at your fingertips. Would recommend.
