Lovely place. There are very few places (if any) open during winter here. So I recommend you bring your own food or drive to nearby towns.
The hotel was lovely. Quiet, so had the onsen to myself. Traditional room, spacious and with air con. Highly recommend.

I've been supporting and visiting the place for over a decade, and while I was happy that the number of overnight guests has increased and it's become popular, I saw the truth when people found day-use bathing annoying. I've cooperated with them in many ways, but it was interesting to see them being treated so unkindly. I think it leaves a good impression on the guests. More so than the regulars who've been coming almost every week for over a decade.
