We did struggle a bit to find this place -our error! There is parking behind an automatic gate in the beautiful gardens of this lovely building. We were delighted to hear our host could speak English and he gave us a tour of our rooms and gave us the choice of breakfast time. Our room- Room Ronsard-was delightful. Very comfy bed as well as the bonus of air conditioning unit. Everywhere in this place was exceptionally clean, not even the slightest hint of a cobweb in the beams! Lovely fluffy towels and toiletries supplied. The city of Tours is full of amazing restaurants in Rue Colbert which is an easy Uber cab drive away costing £13 each way. The breakfast was a traditional delicious bread and croissants with home made preserves, lovely thick yogurts and granola as well as tea, coffee and juice. We were made to feel very welcome here and would definitely recommend to others and we will make a return visit. Thank you for your hard work in making our visit wonderful.

Good nights sleep in this beautiful old house. Warm welcome from host who speaks good English. Breakfast was ok the homemade yoghurt was very nice. Some fruit would have been a welcome addition. Easy access to Tours we drove but trams and buses are near by. Would definitely stay again if en route.

Wir hatten ein tolles, gemütliches und sehr sauberes Dachgeschosszimmer. Der Empfang war herzlich, unsere Gastgeber haben uns wertvolle Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt in Tours gegeben und waren sehr hilfsbereit. Der parkähnliche Garten und das Haus waren wunderbar, das Frühstück französisch. Eine kleine Oase mit guter Anbindung an den öffentlichen Nahverkehr (nur wenige Minuten bis zum Stadtzentrum). Wir würden immer wieder kommen.

We had a wonderful stay at La Heraudiere. A cosy and peaceful B&B, perfectly located to visit the Loire castles. We stayed in the family room with our two little girls ( 2 and 4), the room was extremely well equipped with toys and children books to keep them entertained and spacious enough to be comfortable for 4 people. Breakfast was lovely, with bread, croissants, delicious homemade jams and yogurts. Eggs, ham and cheese were also available upon demand, freshly made. Dominique and Virginie were excellent hosts, very kind and attentive to children, sharing knowledge and advices about the area. The B&B is a short tram ride from the city center (20mins) or 10mins by car. It is possible to park the car inside the gate and a charger is also available for electric vehicles. All in all a lovely stay, highly recommended!

Accueil très chaleureux dans cette belle maison entourée d'un magnifique jardin. Les chambres sont très confortables, le petit déjeuner très bon et les propriétaires très sympatiques. Logement excentré du vieux Tours ais il y a un tram à 10 mn à pied. Nos 6 vélos ont été mis à l'abri.

Une excellente adresse et un accueil des plus agréable. La maison est très belle et au calme. Notre chambre à l'étage était spacieuse avec une literie au top ! Le petit déjeuner copieux, les confitures et yaourts maison un délice. Un plus de pouvoir se garer dans le parc de la maison. Nous recommandons et reviendrons sans hésiter.
