Hotel GHT Neptuno-Tossa & Venus Spa

Staff were very nice and helpful. The pool area was lovely with lots of shade, and pretty grounds, all within the old town of Tossa and a short walk to the beach, with its iconic castle. The rooms were very spacious and clean and some had spectacular views of the sea.

Service from staff is excellent the hotel is very clean and staff work very hard to keep it up to that standard. Rooms need a little updating and some of electrical plugs could be put in better position. One thing i did not like was you at to pay for the fridge in your room it had a lock on it should have been free. Hotel is run very well and will return in.the furniture ⁹.

This is an average hotel, room small very dated maybe just me but when I see 5 stars I just don’t get it. On a positive the air con was good, walk in shower good but some rooms only have shower over bath, majority of staff excellent and rooms serviced everyday, good location but bare in mind the transfer coach drops you off several hundred yards away , the last 70 or 80 up hill so a bit of a slog with two cases and a carry on. The drinks in the bar are excellent particularly the cocktails at 7 euro, very competitively priced. Nice hot tub at nice temperature. The negative , food at breakfast and dinner bang average, we only had dinner twice as it suited us on those two days, but go into town some excellent restaurants offering menu del dia at under 30 euro for 3 courses with bottle of wine. This may be a time of year issue but the pool area is in shade most of the time therefore the actual pool was freezing. Sunbeds very uncomfortable with many on their last legs and only a handful that will give you sun for most of the day. Tossa is a truly lovely town with good restaurants bars and artisan shops typically Catalan. Whilst there we nosed about in several hotels and booked one that we liked for next year, more expensive but you get what you pay for I guess All in all nice holiday !!

I am reluctant to write a detailed review as I do not believe that the Ght Chain actually listens. I have looked on previous Tripadvisor reviews and the same comments, concerning the restaurant, the poor quality food and the long queues are regularly appearing - but no solution seems to be forthcoming. It became a standing joke on how many guests would be in the queue of an evening, waiting to reach the hot food station. One evening, I counted 30. This could have been avoided by a more proactive management team. I felt, straight away, that there were major training issues. I could advise several options to solve the numerous problems. I was actually recommended,by another guest, to offer my services! All of the guests, that we spoke to, had the same opinions about the quality of the food which detracted from the overall experience of the hotel - which had so much more potential.

Beautiful hotel..very clean...swimming pool & gardens lovely..could always get a sunbed..food ok but dining room could be better organised always queued at service station. Ideally situated near amenitites & old town

The hotel has a perfect position from the historical centre and the beach, it's only 7-8 mins. The furniture is a rustic style but some are very interesting. Beds are comfy for my achy back. Rooms are cleaned daily. The small garden around the pool is very nice and well maintained. We had breakfast and dinner every day and the quality and the selection are amazing.
