Very friendly and told us about some nice places to visit. Nice clean room which served us perfectly as a base to explore. We times it wrong as the air show is on the weekend after we left but we still had a fantastic time. We were warned about certain areas to avoid but we didn't notice anything wrong with Torquay, only one bad experience but we've got some happy memories

Another very comfortable and enjoyable stay at this beautiful hotel, this is our third stay in the last year and it never dissapoints. I will keep this brief as I have mentioned in previous reviews everything that is great about this place. Anita even did a takeaway breakfast for us both on our last morning so we could get off early to beat the traffic ( much appreciated and delicious). Another comfortable stay at this beautiful bed and breakfast, just a three night stay this time (we had seven nights in June). Anita and Dave are perfect hosts and so helpful with any requests you may have. The hotel is spotlessly clean and our room "the medium suite" was absolutely lovely and the bed so comfortable. We will of course be staying again next year as this place is so good .Thanks again Anita and Dave and Thankyou for the Prosecco. Neville and Karen Beech

Can’t rate this hotel highly enough. Lovely clean rooms with fridge and fresh milk and fruit. Delicious breakfast using good quality food plus homemade bread. Parking spaces provided. Good value for money

3rd visit to Abbeyfield Hotel and wont be our last. Anita is the perfect host, nothing is too much trouble. Attention to detail is second to none and always a pleasure to return. Breakfast plentiful and very high quality.

Fantastisch verblijf in deze B&B. Anita is heel vriendelijk en correct. De kamer is gezellig en kraaknet. De badkamer is wat klein. Het ontbijt is zalig lekker, je kan op voorhand aangeven wat je wil. De omgeving is heel mooi. De B&B ligt op 10 minuten stappen van de zee en nog iets verder van de haven, maar is daardoor ook rustig gelegen.

Another great visit to the Abbeyfield and once again made to feel very welcome. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and a delicious breakfast, make sure you have a good breakfast as it will keep you going all day. My sister and I always look forward to our time there.

Just back from a very relaxing 7 night break on the English riviera at this most beautiful bed and breakfast. Our hosts Anita and Dave were absolutely brilliant and very helpful and polite and nothing was ever too much trouble. The hotel is situated in a quiet part of Torquay and about a 10 minute walk to the sea front but has a number of bus stops nearby if you don't fancy the walk! Our room (No 2) was spotlessly clean and had a really comfortable king size bed as well as a fridge with fresh water and milk which was replenished by Anita every day. There were also tea and coffee making facilities and a good selection of biscuits for that nice treat when you get back from a long day. The breakfasts were amazing with a great choice to suit all tastes and all cooked to perfection, there is also fresh fruit and a good selection of cereals. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and will definitely be returning. Thanks again Anita and Dave. Neville and Karen Beech

Great location, room very comfy and clean we stayed in the suite with a living room this was very comfortable. Anita was very welcoming and a great breakfast cooked each morning. Highly recommend booking and staying here could not fault this place. Plus private parking.
