What a wonderful little find this place is! It's just a short 15-minute walk to the sea, and they have their own car park, which is super convenient. I booked last minute and was pleasantly surprised to receive a warm message from the owners that really put me at ease. When I arrived, I was greeted with such a friendly welcome! My first impression of the B&B was that it was incredibly clean and stylish. The room was delightful, with lots of thoughtful touches—like an Alexa to play music! The bed was super comfy, and I enjoyed a great night's sleep. The highlight of my stay was the amazing full English breakfast, followed by a lovely chat with the owners. I can’t wait to come back! Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Ich schreibe nur in ganz seltenen Fällen Reviews, aber Villa Marina ist einer: Zunächst unsicher, ob all die Bewertungen auch wirklich zutreffen, kamen wir in Torquay an. Schon hier zeigte sich die Gastfreundschaft von Vince und Erwan, als sie uns halfen, die Koffer (5 große) in die Villa zu tragen. Diese ist klein aber fein mit fünf Zimmern, davon hatten wir drei gebucht. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß, die Betten extra bequem und breit, Minikühlschrank, Kaffeemaschine und Wasserkocher, alles da und in Top-Zustand. Auch die Bäder sind sehr sauber und stilvoll eingerichtet. Insgesamt zeichnet sich das Haus durch sehr viele kleine und durchdachte Details (Spiele, mobile Lautsprecher, Sitzmöglichkeiten im Garten, u.v.m.) aus. Wir bekamen sehr zutreffende Tipps zum guten Essengehen, zu Ausflügen und hilfreiche Infos zur Stadt. Das tägliche Highlight ist aber das 3-Gänge-Frühstück, das man sich am Abend vorbei individuell auswählen kann. Alles wird dann am Morgen frisch zubereitet, und auch kurzfristige Wünsche werden liebevoll erfüllt. Man merkt (nicht nur beim Frühstück), dass die beiden sehr viel Freude daran haben, die Gäste zu verwöhnen. 5 Sterne sind eigentlich zu wenig! Danke Erwan und Vince für einen leider zu kurzen Aufenthalt bei Euch, macht weiter so!

We’ve just returned from a fantastic seven-night stay at Villa Marina, and it truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were looked after so well—everything felt thoughtful and personal. The cleanliness of the villa was impeccable, which was especially appreciated as I’m sensitive to animals and was initially concerned about their pet-friendly policy. Not once was I irritated—every space was spotless. Breakfast deserves a special mention: the poached eggs were genuinely the best I’ve ever had, perfectly cooked every single morning. A lovely surprise awaited us on my birthday too—a chilled bottle of fizz and a heartfelt card. That extra touch made it all the more memorable. Villa Marina gave us the kind of stay that lingers fondly in your thoughts long after checkout. We’ll absolutely be back. Thank you so much V & E

This is a beautiful B&B and the hosts are amazing. Nothing was too much trouble, and everything had been thought of. The breakfast was delicious and really well made, with pleanty of choice. I will be recommending this B&B to all friends and family.

The best experience we’ve had staying away for a weekend!! I booked this guest house because it was close to the Electric bay we were due to visit. From the moment of booking the communication from Vince & Erwan was brilliant. This was a celebration weekend for my husbands 50th. The room was decorated and V&E had organised flowers, wine and chocolates that I’d requested. The room was spotless!! Welcome lemon drizzle cake made by Vince on arrival was delicious 🥰 The bed was so comfortable!! The breakfast was out of this world!! Seriously it’s the best we’ve ever had. Nice touch putting a birthday candle in the sausage 😂Special thank you to Vince & Erwan, you really went out of your way to make our weekend special for my husband’s birthday and I cannot thank you enough!! You can see how hard you both work but look as though you don’t even break out in a sweat!! Looks so natural and it really suits you both. We will be back in the future xx p.s a million thank yous for the flag, I’m getting it framed!!!xx

The guest house was the cleanliest places I have ever stayed, the room was really nice and comfortable, the facilities in the room were excellent, the hosts were really friendly and helpful. I was in the guest house as part of my work but would definitely go back with my family. Walking from the guest house to the sea from was around 15 minutes.
