Our second visit (to work at the Riviera Centre for the weekend) and we shall be back next year for this annual event. Glad we have found such a comfortable and friendly guest house, very reasonable rates and great service. The room was comfortable and clean, with all the amenities required (equivalent to a good hotel stay). Thanks.

Warm friendly welcome to a beautiful clean spacious room, excellent breakfast, our hosts could not have done more to make our stay better.

Grosvenor House Stay September 2023
We stayed at Grosvenor House for a couple of nights. The property is well kept and maintained. Only one thing I would say is we missed air-conditioning during the hot weather. Parking slots are very tight and if you have a new car and worry about someone banging their doors into your car body, be prepared to park somewhere else!

Helpful and friendly
Ray and Paula were very friendly and helpful. The rooms and guesthouse were very clean. The bed was a bit hard but otherwise our stay was excellent. Would stay again

The perfect place to stay in Torquay. The hotel is very clean and comfortable with great beds and good facilities. The rooms are large and include family rooms, if you have children. There's a small bar if you need an evening drink and a comfy lounge if you want to relax with TV and board games available. Breakfasts are great with plenty of choices including full English, omelettes, cereals, fruit and yogurts. The hosts Paula and Ray are wonderful, so welcoming and friendly. If you don't know the area they will help you with where to go and what to do. Nothing is too much trouble. The location is great, being just 5/10 minutes to the seafront and just behind Torre Abbey area. Walking distance to the harbour and town centre and many restaurants and bars. Easy access to everywhere by car and buses available across the road or on the sea front. Would highly recommend and have booked our return trips for next year already.

Grosvenor House is situated in a quiet location close to a number of local parks and the beach, it also has easy access to a number of bus routes and Torquay railway station to explore the surrounding area, if travelling by car there is on site parking at Grosvenor house. The hotel is very comfortable, beautifully decorated and well maintained, on arrival at Grosvenor House guests are always warmly greeted by the owners Ray and Paula, they are both an invaluable source of information for visitors to Torquay and the surrounding area. The rooms are serviced daily at Grosvenor House by a dedicated team who support Ray and Paula to provide guests with immaculately clean rooms. What attracts us back to Grosvenor House is the homely ambiance, it really does feel like a home from home.

Received a warm and friendly welcome from hosts. Rooms clean and comfortable. Lovely breakfast. Waitress with blonde hair was extremely pleasant and sociable. Shower takes a bit of getting used to. Parking could be an issue when busy. Cuppa on arrival was welcomed
