Will never go there again . Can't go swimming as children from outside of Hotel having swimming lessons . Asked why to keep the swimming pool . The big chap rude . Breakfast horrible . There more interested in the bar . Noisey and rude people and Load . Our room was nice . Some of the girls need to dress better they were shabby . Could not park there so told to park in the car park next door . Most of the cars were there for the children that were having lessons , No we paid for a stay at the Hotel needed to park car . Tell them to move there cars . Shame as not cheap . Stay away not like what you see Julie garry martin

It wasn't a great stay and appreciate it was only £76 for the night with Breakfast. I was in room 4 on the lower ground floor with window directly looking into the car park. There is no privacy without closing the curtains - I know net curtains aren't modern, but neither is the décor. At least net curtains would let light in offering some privacy. When the curtains were shut, the lights in the room are completely insufficient - 60w max. Lighting needs to be improved. The floors to the room above need some attention when they next revamp rooms. The acoustics are terrible and I could hear the talking, snoring, two trips to the loo in the night from the room above. The floor creaks. The floors/ceilings would benefit from acoustic lining and sealing. I wasn't going to write a review, however when I got to the bathroom - basic cleaning - there was dried toothpaste spit down the outside of the basin.

The room was under the patio of the bar and was literally in the car park, you could hear all the talking, footsteps and cars parking right outside the room which went on late into the night being a public bar. I would think that this row of rooms may have been garages at some time and converted very poorly into accommodation. The room was so hot it was virtually unbearable with no window that would open and I had to keep the curtains drawn closed for any privacy and to keep the heat down. So my view from the room was of curtains and not the sea at Torquay! The wi-fi was non-existent and the room being under the patio meant the phone signal was also very weak and intermittent! The shower drain was either blocked or faulty as on the last morning it overflowed and flooded the bathroom floor. The breakfast was okay though. It's a shame as the hotel is in a superb location. I guess if you were in the main hotel it might be okay, but this is my opinion of my stay. If you are considering staying here then I would suggest stipulating that you want the main hotel building. I certainly wouldn't stay again.

This is our second visit and we had the same room 23a. Big room with a lovely shower room.loving all the spotlights. Though Quite warm it has lovely patio doors to open and you can sit outside. The car park is there by the room. we liked that , our car right outside. Slept well every night. No noise but this was sun,Mon and tues nights . Lovely hotel great location. Yes it's true you have to pay to swim. We didn't swim as I feel this should be included. As always breakfast is amazing the cooks are fabulous. Perfect breakfast and looking out to sea. Staff are absolutely lovely. Great views. Local to eateries. Pub upstairs with very large balcony,pleasant outlook. Great food. Sadly couldn't get a coffee after 8pm ,machine was off. You can make one in the hotel room yourself and carry it up to the balcony I guess. Will go back. Very very clean.

Fantastic hotel, staff really friendly especially megan and Emily, they are very friendly and made sure I was well looked after, would come again very kind and helpful nothing was to much trouble and always helpful food was good to and really tasty ideal location

Great location, walking distance to Torquay rail station. Staff excellent, room comfortable and spacious, bed comfortable, towels great, great breakfast, nice views from hotel. Stayed 2 nights, good value for money, will use again in the future.

Absolutely unacceptable service. Cannot recommend to anyone. Wife and daughter left unable to access the hotel at 11pm, so they were left without any of their things and having to walk to another hotel which luckily had a room. Premier Inn staff were wonderful, suggest everyone tries there instead.

We stayed in this hotel over night, it was clean, the bed was comfy, the staff were friendly, overall a great experience, Had a room with a lovely view. Would definitely stay there again, the food was lovely, had the breakfast it was served quuck and hot, very tasty
