Outstanding. The Hotel, the hosts, staff, decor and cleanliness were all outstanding I guarantee you will not be disappointed with your stay at the Torcroft Hotel. We stayed in room 5 (in the photos it's the room with the blue sofa) it's a fantastic suite. Thank me later.

Just had an absolutely fabulous weeks stay at The Torcroft , Gary and Philip were so lovely and couldn’t do enough for us to make our holiday perfect. Our room was beautiful , as was everything in the hotel , we had a balcony suite , room 2 it was so spacious and comfortable with a lovely balcony where we could relax, overlooking the gardens .. Breakfast was lovely , and I had no problem at all with my gluten free requirements, there was nothing that couldn’t be provided for me . The honesty bar was a fun and friendly place to relax on an evening in gorgeous surroundings. We will definitely be back it’s a fantastic place to unwind and relax with wonderful hosts .

We spontaneously decided to have an overnight stay in Torquay to visit one of our favourite steak restaurants, and absentmindedly booked a night here. What an amazing stroke of luck! Parking out the front was easy and upon entry we were warmly greeted by Phillip. The decor and interior design is stunning, very well thought out and certainly catches your eyes and interest. Really nicely appointed lounge with a fantastic bar which was very well stocked. Our room (6) was large, airy, fantastically designed and appointed. The mattress was super comfy, the room was immaculately clean. The breakfast in the morning was, you guessed it, fantastic! Served by Gary, both hosts were gracious, provided a top notch stay and were also super friendly to boot. Having never stayed in Torquay before, I’m not an expert, but I highly doubt there is anywhere better to stay. Top service, amazing setting and delightful design, very very high standard rooms which are comfortable and combine substance and style in spades. Can’t recommend it enough if you’re staying in Torquay. (Is a lovely 15 minute walk from here into town). (Also, the bedside tables with built in wireless charges are a great touch).

Stayed for the weekend and loved it, cannot recommend the outstanding Torcroft enough. The attention to detail by the hosts in the decor and service was excellent, our room (5) was very large and stylish. On arrival we met Gary, who looked after us perfectly, so friendly and welcoming, he recommended some good things to do to make our trip memorable. Loved the outdoor garden terrace with comfy chairs / sofas and tropical plants, we honestly could have been abroad. The honesty bar was a nice surprise and very well stocked plus breakfast was excellent plus all the staff were so nice. Well worth a visit to anyone visiting Torquay. highly recommend a visit.

I feel I could have written this review before actually visiting! We have stayed here before but not for a while but we weren’t disappointed. The welcome is always warm and with the addition of two lovely dogs it was perfect. The room and indeed everywhere is beautifully decorated and the honesty bar is a joy! Breakfast was excellent. I can definitely recommend if you want to stay in the Torbay area. Short walk into Torquay but it is uphill on the way back!

From the warm welcome and throughout our stay Gary and Philip were excellent hosts. The property was stunning, quiet and the location was close to everything. The breakfasts were good quality and the room cosy and spotless. We would highly recommend visiting this wonderful place and we hope to visit again.

We had a fantastic time at The Torcroft. The owners are incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome. The house is fantastic, very clean, and full of charm. The breakfast was excellent – a homemade full English, freshly prepared and very tasty. I can highly recommend this B&B and would love to come back!

We had a truly lovely stay! The property is beautiful and has such a warm homely vibe, great location too just a short walk from the centre but tucked away enough to be very peaceful. Our hosts were wonderful, super friendly and had great recommendations for the area. All in all a lovely experience highly recommend for anyone looking for a charming place to stay - Alex & Charlie
