Coastal Waters (Hotel Barton)

I'm so glad we chose this hotel. It's spotlessly clean, comfortable and Raj, the owner, is exceptional, he goes above and beyond to make your stay as relaxing as possible and we couldn't thank him enough. The mini fridge in the room is a good idea and was well stocked, as was the tea and coffee. Breakfast was great with a good choice of cereals, fruit and the cooked food was delicious. The location is perfect for all the amenities, just a short walk. There are some places you can't wait to leave, this is NOT one of them. Will definitely recommend and will return

We recently stopped here for 4 nights & thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Raj the owner just couldn't do enough for you & he alone makes this place rate so highly. I would honestly give this place a 4.5/5 rather than the given 4, but I think it would be unfair to others that fully merit 5 stars. The hotel is so well situated - just a 5 minutes walk from the harbour. Parking could be a slight issue, but Raj fitted us in by the back door & we never had a problem. We had 2 single rooms, that were a bit small & lacked a view, but they were well equipped with good showers, toilet & complimentary toiletries plus tea, coffee, biscuits & water. The place was very clean. The bedding was excellent & we slept very well. Breakfast was lovely. Complimentary cereals, juices & fruit were followed by a good Full English. The coffee was to die for & Raj was often there chatting & re-filling my coffee well after breakfast should have ended!! Thanks to Raj for a great welcome & we hope to catch up with you again soon. This hotel is simply the very best in Torquay. From the moment you arrive your treated as 'Royalty' with nothing to much trouble for Raj and his wonderfully talented wife and chef Susma. The room,from the spotless furniture,the sumptuous mattress and the fabulous views to the very best cooked breakfast in Torquay. I would very highly recommend Coastal Waters as this hotel is summed up in one simple word 'Fabulous'! 5 STARS GW

Excellent host. Was made to feel very welcome , the host was very polite. Was given a parking permit which helped immensely. We stayed in the king room with a balcony. The hotel is very local to the sea front and local amenities. Being quite fussy that we both are we can safely say that we would both stay here again 10/10. Thank you Coastal Waters Host

Top class hotel We was greeted by the owners and treated like royalty.. our rooms where very clean and comfortable.. would highly recommend it has we will definitely be staying there again and it’s worth the price which includes car parking where other charge £9.50 per night … congratulations to the owners for making our stay so memorable and everything else.

Torquay We booked for a three night stay and we definitely made the right choice to stay … amazing host and our rooms we couldn’t fault … they are absolutely spotless and would come back again in the future.
