Tyndale B&B Torquay

There were a lot of nice looking B&Bs in Torquay but Tyndale looked like it had that little extra about it. I read the reviews and just hoped it lived up to them…. but it didn’t…..it exceeded them. On arrival Tonny came to greet us as we got out of the car, we were led into the dining room and offered refreshments and a hot towel to freshen up with after a long journey. David & Tonny went through local pubs, restaurants and places to visit before taking our bags to our room for us. The room looks nice in the photos, it was beautifully thought out with too many extra little touches to mention. Great selection of teas and coffee and fresh milk in the fridge 🥰 non of that nasty tiny plastic carton milk. And the most divine home made cake 🍰 Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and a pillow selection. Breakfast was possibly the best I’ve ever eaten. Great menu to choose from and freshly cooked. The eggs Benedict was so good 😋 and Buck’s Fizz too. We will definitely be back.

Where do you start? Just THE BEST we’ve ever stayed in! From the moment we booked. The information given about where to park, places to visit etc. When we arrived the fact we were greeted by name and then offered a choice of drink (including a prosecco 😘) and a hot towel after a long journey 😃 David and Tonny are just two of the nicest people and thoroughly deserve their five star rating! Those attentions to detail and little touches made our stay thoroughly enjoyable. I mean my favourite toiletries in the bathroom.The White Company products 😍 The bed is so comfy and the pillows too. Just everything is such beautiful and high quality. We weren’t expecting our room to be cleaned every day but it was, with fresh coffee mugs and milk in the fridge. Bottles of fresh water that you can take out with you, which we did. Breakfast….WOW! Another five star experience. I mean a b&b that offers you Buck’s Fizz! Food was amazing and presented beautifully. Fresh and home made produce available. We will definitely return and cannot thank you both enough for your hospitality. You totally deserve your rating…just keep doing what you do, you are AMAZING ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This B & B is the most amazing place my husband and I have stayed at. Tonny and David were the most perfect hosts you could ask for and we felt very spoilt and so well looked after. The rooms are immaculate. The breakfast choices are excellent and the cooked breakfast was so delicious! We wished we could have stayed longer.

We have just come back from a 3 night stay at the Tyndale B&B . I don’t think I have ever had such great hosts, nothing was too much trouble. David makes the best breakfasts and Tonny’s hosting is second to non. A fabulous place to visit. Beautiful rooms with a real cosy touch. We will be back!!!

Had an amazing time here. Room was beautiful and spotless as was the rest of the property. David and Tonny were extremely welcoming and accommodating hosts. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. Bed/pillows were super comfy and the iPad in the room was a nice touch. Would definitely stay here again, felt spoilt! 10/10

Absolutely marvellous. Pluspunten · Paradise... by the Devonian light! Is there anything Tonny and David haven't thought of at Tyndale? This place is perfect, divine, stylish, cozy, exuberant, all at once, and the two hosts are warm and welcoming. The breakfast is 100% personalized, tailored to your wishes and your mood that morning.
