Travelodge Torquay

The stay was pleasant, the room was basic but clean missed not having a bath and just a shower missed simple things like a hair dryer in the room although when requested at the reception I was given one and lack of choice of coffee and tea in the room. It was very nice that there was no noise at night and meant a decent night's sleep. Breakfast was acceptable, but you have to get there early when it comes out hot from the kitchen, or it is all cold from spending to long under the hot plates. The only big downside is it's a good 30mns walk from the town centre although buses seem to run outside the hotel but there is a good-sized car park if you drive. The room was small but fine for just my 2 nights stay and acceptable. I'm not sure the room size, lack of luxuries and breakfeast beng hit and miss would make it comfortable for a longer stay.

They hotel was clean in the hall way the room carpets had marks on them. No air conditioners and the room had no fan had to ask for one

Unclean bathroom, broken window that would not close, WiFi kept losing signal, No parking in the Main car park, had to use the rear car park that was not well lit, key would not let me into the building as the lock was faulty.

Appalled at the parking charge an wi fi charge Struggled to find a parking space when paid for it !!!! Local bus service very good though Clean rooms A tad noisy at times
