What a fantastic place! Anne is such a friendly and accommodating host - we felt welcome even before we’d arrived. The quiet and picturesque setting is both homely and calming whilst also being well-connected to a variety of nearby points of interest. With excellent facilities, a stunning range of food for breakfast, and a host who made us feel right at home, I cannot recommend Halekulani Homestay enough.

We stayed for 5 nights and had a wonderful time. The views from our room were amazing as we could see both the beautiful Devon countryside and also the sea. Anne was the perfect host and nothing was too much trouble. We were in room 3 which had a smaller bathroom but this was not an issue for us. We made use of the heated pool, there is a charge of £30 for 3 uses for 2 hours each time, but this meant it was exclusive to us which made it feel special. The grounds were immaculate and one morning we had breakfast outside. The breakfast was delicious and kept us full most of the day. A couple of nights we walked to the local pub, The Thatched Tavern, where the food is delicious.

We had a lovely little stay at Annes homestead, the room was really comfortable, the setting and views were really beautiful. We used the pool about an hour or two after arriving, you have to request this before so they can get it ready for you, testing, cleaning etc, once ready, it was so lovely. We stayed in for the night, and was made to feel really welcome with complimentary tea and cake which was amazing. The breakfast was one of the highlights for me, all local produce, so tasty. Would really recommend the stay. It feels more like a retreat, which is a completely different feel than a hotel or B&B, so much more personal!

Beautiful homestay in a great location with breathtaking views. Clean rooms, spacious bathroom and very comfortable bed. Amazing hostess, nothing too much trouble and always thinking of you throughout your stay. The food was delicious and we looked forward to our breakfast every morning. We had the best week. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely quiet place just out of town. Host was very attentive and nice. Great views and breakfast! Communal area looks comfy, and although we didnt use the pool its part of a garden with a great sea view that is very tidy.

Absolutely beautiful peaceful stay! Anne is the perfect host. Everything has been thought of and can’t fault a thing. Spotlessly clean. Had a bit of a mix up when I booked but Anne gave us a discounted price to upgrade and also gave us a free overnight charge on our car which was really appreciated. If you want a complete rest away from everything this is the perfect place! Beautiful views! Thank you Anne.

This was a magical little trip. Halekulani Devon stays, I would argue has the best view in Torquay. It was like something out the wizard of oz! Anne was the best host ever! A lovely caring woman who wanted to make sure we had the best stay possible . She made an amazing breakfast. First, I would have protien weetabix with an orange juice. Then came the English breakfast - 2 Mustard sausages, turkey bacon, 2 poached egg, mushrooms, hash brown, tomato & 2 slice of warm sourdough. After breakfast we would sit at the pool and read our books for 2 hours I would highly recommend , and will defiantly be back. Thank you Anne for the hospitality it was the best trip ever!
