Ace Hotel Toronto

Great hotel. We had a pleasant stay and enjoyed every minute. I only wish that breakfast was included, considering how high the price was.

The hotel design is really cool. All the people who work at the Ace made us feel very welcome, they were always happy and extremely helpful. The room is a bit of a squeeze for four people, but we always knew that would be the case. The location was great. We had dinner one night at the hotel which was really good. It is also located next door to a cafe that serves 100% gluten free food, which suited me perfectly. We really enjoyed our stay and I’d definitely recommend it to others.

Had a great return stay at The Ace Toronto. The Ace suites are stunning — spacious/open, cozy, inviting and very comfortable. Service was much more personalized and attentive this time around. Special thanks to Vlad, Connor, Patience and of course Monjur! Appreciated the attention to detail with my return stay. Thank you all for making my short stay memorable and so enjoyable.

Having stayed in hundreds of hotels domestically and internationally, I have to say, this has hands down been THE worst hotel experience. Perhaps because we made the grave error of booking a month and not a few days, the cracks in all manners of hospitality service are showing. No matter how many times you ask for your room to be cleaned, the most lackluster effort is put forward leaving us with: -asthma-inducing levels of dust -dirt and debri littering the carpet -toilets and tubs not being cleaned -losing an expensive tank top I sent to be cleaned in the hotel--no follow up after 2 days, no apologies. -there is no consideration to your sleep or work here. Zero. They care much more for their party aesthetic and their insufferable rooftop bar. I could understand if I was staying at a hotel in Ibiza but I'm in a business district in a major city. But above all else--after an initial warm welcome from a few great front desk employees, I dealt with so much dimissive and defensive attitudes any time I communicated a need or concern. One woman this afternoon just relentlessly gaslit me on a phone call today about booming bass music I couldn't drown out with white noise at the loudest decibel. And one of the male managers didn't believe that my key card stopped working and spent 5 minutes telling me how I must be wrong only to learn it was, in fact, not working. They also treat customers like we signed up to do their job. I get constantly asked "What would you like me to do about that" regarding losing my expensive top in their laundry service, regarding an unclean room, regarding their policy that no one is allowed back in their room til the cleaning is done but you can't get the room cleaned when you schedule it." It's so incredibly dismissive and uncaring. I hate this place. These guys needed significantly more training on how to deal with customers because my entire experience here has been like a really bad relationship I can't wait to get out of.
