Amazing Hostel! Great rooms, I stayes in an 8 persons dorm with the pods. They were big, had light in there and a locker. The washrooms were good and everything was really clean. The hostel has an awesome location and a beautiful rooftop, breakfast is for free and the hostel is planning Events every night to connect people from the hostel!

Stayed in the Pod rooms which are on the lowest floor closest to the entrance door. The pod dorm room was fine overall with comfy beds and privacy if your curtains are closed in the pods, however the windows in the room were so large people from the street could look into your room unless the blinds were closed. The lockers in the room was large. There was one shared ensuite shower and toilet in the room. It would be nice if they also had a communal shower elsewhere that could be used. Toiletries were on a leave and borrow basis and there always seemed to be plenty available. Staff at this hostel were generally nice but Alex and Fernandez at the front desk were especially kind and helpful. Fernandez took me on a tour of the hostel and its facilities when checking in which was very nice of her. There is a rooftop common area and there is a kitchen and common space in the reception lobby. A basic free breakfast was included (Bagels, cereal, bread, spreads, fruit) which was a good bonus. This hostel was in a excellent location being quite convenient to many locations and there seemed to be bikes for hire available close by. Overall my stay at this hostel was great and would stay there again

I stayed in this youth hostel for 2 nights at the base. A warm welcome, they provide everything you need for your stay, sheets, towels, etc. The room was good, clean, the beds also bright. The bathroom was also clean, functional and had everything you needed. The rooms have lockers for valuables. The communal areas are alive all the time, making them uniquely pleasant. Everything is in place to ensure that your stay goes smoothly. The rooftop is a major asset for this hostel, with a view of the Toronto skyline. I enjoyed my stay so much that I asked to stay an extra night, and they made sure I didn't have to change rooms to make my life easier. The activities on offer each evening are varied and inclusive. I loved my stay at this hostel, and would highly recommend it!

We had a really good stay in this hostel. Super friendly and helpful staff (and a dog!) The rooms were clean, and the facilities were good. The shared kitchen is well equipped, and the free breakfast is good. Convenient location, so it was easy to walk into town

I stayed in this hostel for 2 weeks and it was the worst experience in Canada so far ! there was a lot of mold in the shower, the shower head didn't work properly, and there was no possibility to shower not hot at all. People left alot of stuff in the bathroom, like used mugs etc. which the staff didn't seem to bother. The ventilation system in my room was not working properly and tended to be really loud. The beds were not good at all. They were really loud and unstable. The rooms were too small for the amount of beds. I couldn't even walk without stepping in someones luggage and backpack. But worst of all was my experience with one australian staff member. Let's call him H. H always went into my room without knocking.

The hostel is amazing! I was there for two nights, of which one night was christmas eve. There was a christmas dinner and the next morning there was a present for every guest under the christmas tree. Very nice touch! Overall ambience is very friendly. The staff is very friendly and helpful!

Our whole experience was mainly tarnished by the behaviour and attitude of a male staff member (Robin). He was friendly at our check-in, but then his attitude completely changed. The first day he barged inside our room, a only Female dorm, while he was vacuuming without even knocking. Me and my friends were shocked since we were changing but thought we did not hear the knock and tried forgetting about it. He did the same the next day and when we confronted him he was arrogant and did not care at all. As a female I did not feel safe in the room and expected to have that male staff member barge in at any time, which is unfortunate since we made sure to pick an all female dorm. it is also located next to a church where there is a camp of homeless people and during the night there is a lot of noise just so you know. I really would have left a better review if did not have the experience i had with that male staff member. He does not reflect well on the hostel at all.

Pros: staff were lovely. Free breakfast (bagels, toast and cereal) &great cooking facilities. There is a plug with 2 outlets next to the bed as well as light and shelf. Towels are supplied and you can change them daily if needed. Good location and easy walking distance to most places. Nice rooftop area Cons: main reason for the “average” rating was that rooms are very hot in the summer with poor ventilation, despite having the air con on No privacy curtain on the bunks. Lockers too small fit my 65L backpack. My 6 bed dorm was very small - difficult if multiple people need to pack bags etc.
