Convenient transportation, relatively clean, and comfortable bed. But there is no breakfast and it is a bit troublesome to send the door code.

My gosh that was the prettiest hotel I’ve ever stayed at! Amenities were wonderful, staff was engaging and hardworking, and very good parfait breakfast. Beautiful rooms, convenient location, I will stay there again soon!

This is a beautiful hotel, situated at a great part of the city with a great vibe throughout.
Loved the bath products.
Hotel staff very friendly.
Great places to eat nearby.
They make the best coffee at Hotel Lobby.

The hotel is in a great neighbprhood with lots going on and the bed was comfortable. That's about all the positive things I can say.
On the downside, there is a lot. The day we arrived we were subject to loud music that literally vibrated the room until after 1 AM. They were having an "event" in the bar/restaurant. You can't have it both ways; either run a hotel or a party space. They never mentioned this when we booked.
As far as the amenities - pretty lame: no luggage racks in the room, only 2 hangers in the closet, it took 2 requests before they got around the cleaning the room, the bed was so wide that it had walls on both sides and the only way onto it was to climb on from the end. It goes on: hardly any room to put anything down, no night tables (no room for any), the hot water in the sink literally took 4-5 minutes to get hot (the shower was much faster), the only mirror was not over the sink or near the light making it hard to use, the shower fan was really loud, there were no confortable chairs.
If you are looking for a do-it-yourself hotel, this is the spot for you. If not, you can do better.

I loved the vibes!! The medium room was gorgeous and was so serene! This staycation with different choices of music vinyl really made it for me.

Enjoyed the vibe of the area. The hotel has a great location close to transit and subways. Felt very safe in the area, and it was very quiet... we stayed from Sat to Wed. Great restaurant choices. We were able to walk around the neighborhoods towards the university. Our room was just right, does have a tv, but it's really not needed. No trouble with check in and out. The only drawback is that there is no elevator and the AC broke down during a very hot weather. They did fix it as quickly as possible. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. Enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again.

I stayed in room 208. The noise from the room above me went on for a couple of hours on my first morning. I had just flown in and would have liked to have slept in especially with a 3 hour time zone change for me. I figured it's not the norm for most to sleep in so I learned to appreciate the loud (but nice and cool a/c fan) to drown out the dragging of chairs and stomping or dropping. But then on the second evening, the noise was there again around midnight when I had to get up to catch a plane in the morning. Other than the noise from above, super comfy bed and very clean! Better than expected for an old refurbished character building. I'd stay again, but I'd ask for a top floor unit.
