I stayed at this hotel to see a show at History. It is very close - less than 10 minutes by car. The hotel is very nice - a lot of cool detail and character everywhere. The room was stylish and comfortable and even included a record player. The staff were also great, very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend.

First time getting booked with The Broadview Hotel, and the experience was unfortunate. When called before arrival, the hotel assured everything was confirmed and sorted. However, when I arrived, that was not the case. I tried to check in at 6:40, but it is now 7:18 pm. We cancelled our booking with the hotel and decided to boo through ******* instead. In addition to this, parking was reserved for my reservation, but when I arrived, they said parking is full and I’d have to pay for a public parking lot. Internal communication is terrible, and the check-in team would benefit from service training. I was hoping to enjoy dinner when I checked in, but now, I won’t be able to. What’s going on with this place? Update: Cancelled our booking with the hotel and made one with expedite. Just came back, still haven’t figured out my check-in. I’ve been up since 5 am, and was supposed to check in at 11 am, came here for 6:40 and now it’s 10:30 pm. The restaurant manager came down with security to sort the situation out. They finally got me checked in at 10:45 pm. Esp as a Black Transgendered Austic individual, during pride coming here for work was insane. To be honest, I cannot book here again.

Rooftop is great and their ability to communicate with you via text is fast and convenient. Small things like waiting for hot water took away from the overall experience. The vinyl library and water station with flat and sparkling were great and original adds.

We recently stayed there for 2 nights. Great room, they helped with an extra duvet. Good restaurant and rooftop bar. We were however not amused by a party in the rooftop bar straight above our room on the second night. We were not told in advance and the room was not exactly cheap. The staff were not helpful on the matter and it was quite a painful proces to get any kind of reaction and understanding that this was not ok.

The hotel is, for me, a comfortable place to stay when I visit family in Toronto. I like the rooftop for the views of the city (although it was closed due to a private affair on my last visit).

I really enjoy this hotel. The rooms are very comfortable. There are many small touches that set it apart from other hotels. The details in the design of the spaces is wonderful. My only complaint is that there is no coffee maker in the rooms. They have a kettle and instant coffee. You can arrange room service. They have a well stocked minibar and a turntable which I would trade for a coffee maker. 🤓 The roof top restaurant is very good, an advanced reservation is recommended.
