We had a wonderful stay at Dishang Resort in Wuzhen, and here are some highlights from my experience:
Location: The resort is conveniently situated inside the West Gate Scenic Spot, allowing guests to explore the area freely, even after it closes to the public. The view is stunning—peaceful and filled with a serene atmosphere.
Check-in: The check-in counter is located right at the entrance to the West Gate Scenic Spot, with the entrance fee included for resort guests. The added perk is that you’re allowed multiple entries and exits throughout your stay.
Buggy Service: A buggy service is available for guests, making it easy to travel around the scenic spot and explore its many sights without much hassle.
Room: Our room was very spacious, and we were fortunate to be upgraded to the Family Room during check-in. The living area between the two rooms was especially comfortable, and both bathrooms were large, with a bathtub. The only downside was that the toilet seat wasn’t heated, which would have been a nice touch.
Breakfast: The buffet breakfast offered a decent variety, including many local dishes. It was a good way to start the day, though it wasn’t extraordinary.
Service: The reception staff were excellent—very helpful and informative. When we arrived, most restaurants within the scenic spot were closed, but the receptionist kindly suggested a few places for lunch, which was greatly appreciated since we were starving.
Overall Experience: Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I’m already looking forward to visiting again in the future!

This beautiful and cosy homestay hotel is located just outside Wuzhen West scenic zone (乌镇西栅). While staying in a homestay within a scenic zone can waive the entry fee, I chose this place for its good reviews and tranquil aesthetic, and it did not disappoint!
The lady who might be the lady boss checked us in was the friendliest and sweetest, helping us with all our luggages herself and giving us recommendations on places to visit and food options.
I picked the Zhegu room for its standing tub and was pleasantly surprised at how they provided dispensable bathtub covers for hygiene! I also love the double sink vanity and the huge projector screen where we could comfortably watch dramas from our bed.
You can try their 20rmb set breakfast too or consider ordering their tea sets to your room to enjoy. Or maybe simply lounge at their zen lobby area with cosy sitting spaces 😌

I remember staying at the hotel when it opened at the beginning of last year. It was very good. This time, my friend came to stay at this hotel again. The experience was great! The room was as clean and tidy as always, the bedding was comfortable, and I slept very well.
The attitude of the hotel staff was as friendly as always. It happened that there was a team that day, and the hotel gave us breakfast, which was rich in variety and tasted very good.

The room is very clean. Xiaolu, the front desk of the hotel, provided great service. He helped to upgrade the room type and the check-in and check-out procedures were very fast. Very near XiZha entrance, lots of food nearby, spacious room and clean.
Might need to improve on main entrance assesibility to the stay though as outsider can easily gain entrance to the back where our rooms are located. But theres cctv everywhere so i guess its pretty safe.
One night during our stay was a bit scary though, unsure is an outsider or guest making a scene with loud banging and shouting in the middle of the night. Maybe the owner can do something about it for other guests to have a peaceful sleep at night?
Overall we're satisfied with our stay. Would still choose this place regardless.

we took a bus from shanghai pudong airport to jiaxing north station then just took a taxi via didi in alipay to get here. the homestay location was great since they were just beside the No. 2 Gate. For foreigners, we needed to get tickets and show our passports to the visitor center just around 100 meters away from the gate and hotel. from before our arrival all the way to check in, i was in touch with them already via wechat and the response was always very quick and helpful. we liked that the inn also had a free shuttle service on call for us and took us back and forth to dongzha (and old street beside it), as well as the bus station to get to suzhou. The uncle was also very helpful and friendly, ever ready to help us with our luggage all the way to the 3rd floor and to give us his recommendations on timings, directions and such. The younger family member in the front desk was also very helpful! They told us not to engage with the many people offering day trips outside just to be safe. They also lent us umbrellas for the rain and sun, and even band-aids.
We would gladly stay at this B&B again but request a lower floor like the 2nd just because we usually go back mid-day and tend to forget stuff so the flights of stairs is something to consider if you're not up to the exercise. The room and toilet were very clean and good value for money! They were also very considerate as to putting all scents away upon my request. Just beside the B&B were small groceries, eateries and stores so we walked around also at night. For wuzhen, we did xizha only first next to the hotel from 4pm onwards for one day then dongzha ,old street (morning to afternoon) and xizha at night again the next day to save on the ticket costs.

Wuzhen Gate No. 2 is a bit LOW. You can see the entrance when you open the window. If you are over 70 years old, remember to turn right and go to the service hall to make an appointment to exchange for free tickets. Although it is not the peak season now, there are many people in the scenic area. It is very convenient to enter and exit here. The hotel is cost-effective and the service is very good. There are discounts for eating and buying water. I ate breakfast and dinner. The steamed dumplings, fried dough sticks and soy milk for breakfast are delicious. The three-fresh soup for dinner is good. My father fell in love with Tongxiang chili sauce, which is salty and fresh and super delicious. The room is very clean, with wooden floors. The projector is very good at night. It would be better if you can watch TV live. The software used always plays ads, a little complaint. There are many accommodations in the scenic area, but the experience is average. I am glad that I didn’t live in it. I am afraid that it will be creepy to live in a remote corner at night. LlschungWe recently had the pleasure of staying at the Splendid Clubhouse, and we couldn't be more satisfied with our experience. Originally, we had booked our stay at Eden Clubhouse, but due to maintenance, we were upgraded to Splendid Clubhouse. This unexpected change turned out to be a delightful surprise.
From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. We are especially thankful for Butler Fan's 范家辉 warm reception. He greeted us at the car drop-off point, assisted with our luggage, and facilitated a seamless check-in process. As he guided us to the hotel, he graciously pointed out several key spots along the way.
Upon reaching the hotel, Butler Fan continued to ensure our comfort by showing us around the premises and helping with dining bookings. His attentiveness and friendliness set the tone for our entire stay.
Our hotel room was incredibly spacious, providing us with the perfect environment for rest and relaxation. We had a wonderful night's sleep, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was serene and inviting.
The service we received from beginning to end was exceptional. Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. One of the highlights was the foot bath, which was an unexpected bonus and a lovely touch to our stay.
In summary, our stay at Splendid Clubhouse was nothing short of splendid. We left feeling refreshed and grateful for the outstanding service and amenities provided. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway.

GGuest UserThe renovation of the ancient building, the core location, the thoughtful service, the advantages are not repeated. There are several problems with the facilities. I hope that if the hotel is willing, it should actively improve them: First, the hair dryer has very low wind power, and it can't be dried at all after washing your hair at night. It's not just a problem of individual machine failure, but also a problem that the unified brand model is not up to standard. If it is the former, I hope the hotel can check and replace it; if it is the latter, it really shouldn't be. Now there are a lot of Dyson substitute brands in China, and the performance is basically very powerful. There is no reason not to quickly update and replace them, causing guests to be forced to sleep with wet heads at night. Second, the bedside power supply installation not only has no ready-made USB charging socket, but also the power supply location is very far away, or simply blocked by the bedside table, and the ordinary 1-meter USB cable cannot be pulled, and the basic use scenario of lying on the bed to charge and brush the mobile phone cannot be realized. It is recommended that the hotel consider upgrading and transforming the bedside table position power supply and USB charging port hardware.

AAngel.xiaI met with friends in Tongxiang and chose the luxury suite of Eden Platinum Hotel. The living room is very large, with a large refrigerator and washing machine, which is very suitable for family outings. I can free my hands from washing clothes by hand. The breakfast is also good. Yyunt mingWe booked 2 rooms for two nights. Receptionist 纪丹阳 was very helpful and upgraded riverside rooms for us. We had a very good quality buffet breakfast.The location was very good as the rooms are inside the scenic area so we enjoyed taking photos in the morning and at night before 10 pm without crowd in the scenic area.I recommend to stay in this hotel at least one night in this scenic area to enjoy day and night experience.我们订了两间房，住两晚。前台接待员季丹阳非常乐于助人，还给我们升级了河边房。我们享用了非常优质的自助早餐。位置非常好，因为房间就在景区内，所以我们早上和晚上 10 点之前都可以拍照，景区内没有拥挤的人流。我建议在这个景区至少在这家酒店住一晚，享受白天和夜晚的体验。

GGuest UserAbsolutely love this hotel - from the hotel grounds, the rooms, service and location - just perfect. Within wuzhen - just steps out but yet quiet and serene. Rooms were spacious and luxurious. we booked a driver through the hotel back to hongcun and the hotel porter not just helped with our luggages but accompanied us to the visitors centre where our driver is waiting, helped us load our bags, told the driver to take care of us as we are foreigners and do not have local numbers and to drive us safely. He waited until we got into the car and drove off. I cant recommend this hotel enough.

VVincywwLove this place the most very relaxing view out of our room, owner of the homestay very friendly, they provide wood comb in the room which is very nice to bring back as a gift, they provide a nice and comfortable slipper for my child, and even provide ear plugs in wash room ready for us. Food provide by them is nice especially their fresh bamboo shoots is season food right on our trip

LLay KimWe travelled from Malaysia on our own. Before arrival, the boss/owner of the place had been communicating with me on wechat guiding us how to travel on the public transportation which also save the cost. The owner/boss is excellent. we arrived late around 9pm+. he came to fetch 6 of us personally. he showed us where to go the next day and arrange the local trishaw for us so that we can experience the uniqueness of the town. We also had dinner and breakfast at the guesshouse. I must say, the foods are yummy. Most of us are vegetarian yet they can also cooked delicious vege meal. a must try when staying in wuzhen. Noticed that the guesthouse also received awards from trips because many other guests also comment the same. We definitely will be staying in this guesthouse again should we go back to the town because of the warmth service provided by the boss and the employees.

GGuest UserIt's no exaggeration to say that I will definitely recommend ALILA Hotel WuZhen to my friends if they have plans to travel to Jiaxing.
From the moment I arrived the hotel, I felt the warm welcome from the front desk staff. I was really enjoying the warm welcome drinks, fresh pear juice provided by the check-in lobby. In particular, thanks to Sherry, the receptionist, who contacted me in advance before my arrival and kindly reminded me that thick clothes need to be prepared for the local cooling.
The concierge took the initiative to help me bring my luggage to the room and personally guided me to the room, they gave a detailed introduction of the hotel facilities and dining outlets. I was greatly moved and surprised by the exquisite welcome amenity prepared on the table in the room. There are delicate and delicious macarons, fresh fruit plates prepared with care, a bottle of fine red wine, afternoon patisserie with Zhejiang characteristics, and even a welcome letter handwritten by General Manager Nick. I can feel that Alila's staff really treat guests with true heart.
I still want to thank a boy who worked in the hotel bar. I'm sorry that I forgot his name. He patiently took beautiful photos of me on the afternoon of my arrival, recording my wonderful moment in the Alila Hotel.
I really enjoy the relaxing time in the bar of this hotel. There is a standing performance of Filipino band in the bar at night. The service provided by the band was very good. They cared about each guest on the scene and asked each guest what song they wanted to listen to in a friendly and warm manner. I was really immersed in relaxing and drinking there.
The breakfast in the hotel is well-done. The food quality and taste are very good. The breakfast choices are very rich. The only disadvantage is that the skin of shrimp dumplings is too thick. Alex, the Director of Food and Beverage, actively inquired about our stay experience and personally served us with care. The service was very good. He knew that we felt too hot when sitting outdoors and quickly helped us transfer to the indoor table near the window.
When I was checking out, the front desk staff treated us warmly as always, and gave me a sleeping pillow spray and a wash and care package as a parting gift, which greatly moved me again. Compared to the next hotels I stayed in on this trip, the hotel that impressed me the most was definitely the Alila Hotel, with its superb service.
