The APA hotel itself is well standardized, so it's not just as much as expected, and it's not below, so I'm looking for it every time I go to Japan. Compared with other branches, the scale of the store is large, and the laundry room of the store is also a large economy, so it is convenient to use, but it takes time to use this when people are crowded. It's a bit quiet, so it's not a wall view in any room, and the lower floor rooms are also a view. However, Ryogoku itself is not a tourist destination for Koreans to go to, and you have to walk more than 5 minutes from the double station three or two stations, and the subway line is not very helpful, so you have to transfer to Asakusa right in front of you. It's accessible.

The service was so good, thank you!!!! The staff always tried to help even if sometimes they didn't had the answer. Maybe bring a phone to translate with them to make sure the communication flows. Not far from the metro station (google maps is accurate), but for my next trip to tokyo i'd check something closer (10' to go and 10' to come back if you walk regular/low pace is already an extra 20mn to your day walk). But they were so kind tbh. It felt like high end in how they treat you, have anything you'd need (luggage scale, printing an itinerary...). There are lots of washing machines always available bc it charges 300Y for washing and 100Y to dry. Washing soap is available. The room is a little small for 2 and the bed, but you can sleep for 2 people easily in my opinion. When you arrive, AC is on and it is soo comfortable, not hot at all! It always worked so well. I put the humidificator below the bed to have more space. The fridge works well (check that it doesn't freeze). Looks easy to order food, they give you the complete adress. Comes with a little desk lamp, phone adapter/charger... They have sort of a partnership with the Indian restaurant next door for 900ish yen which is cheap. I don't particularly recommend it (love Indian food but the Cheese naan doesn't work well with japanese cheese in my opinion, and i think they microwave the food). There is a drinks machine in the hotel (140yen for water) that works with credit cards, otherwise you can go out and get 100yen bottle at the corner (coins only). Overall, the description is accurate, staff is friendly, if you're ok to walk to the metro station and a small room to save money go!!

I found this hotel while looking for a place to stay with four friends. It has three double beds and a sofa that can be used as a bed, so I had no trouble sleeping. There are two air conditioners, and a washing machine and detergent are provided in the room. The space is spacious, and the projector can be connected to YouTube, so I enjoyed watching YouTube while relaxing! There's a subway station right nearby, so I can travel all over Tokyo with a 72-hour subway ticket. It's great, but it might be a bit pricey if you're coming alone. If you're looking for a place to stay with multiple people, it's an excellent choice. It can accommodate up to eight people.

Really conveniently located across the street from a train station. The hotel is decent. The rooms are incredibly tiny (I've had basic cruise cabins that were bigger) but maybe that is to be expected in Tokyo? The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is pretty decent and has a mix of interesting foods to try.

Great location for visiting Asakusa, SkyTree and midway between 3 jump on/off stops on Tokyo tour bus red route (for Amosoka street market - where you can connect to green route near other end), location is quiet and you are reminded to please keep it that way. Hotel is clean, attentive staff and free baggage keep if you're moving on later in day. 7 floors, decent sized lift, air con in rooms, small shower wc, 2 single beds in western single sized room. Good view of Sky tower soaring about roof tops from the outside walkway to rooms. The rooftop patio ( one of the reasons we selected this hotel) was out of bounds. Breakfast is a typical McDonalds poster/actual product affair. Ie doesn't match up. Food itself was good. 2 sets of hand and bath towels in, disposable slippers to use when inside, together with toothbrush/toothpaste, hair brush/comb, 2 blade razor and face cloths in room. Commercial sized shampoo and soap dispensers. Usual bum blaster washer type toilet (Japanese text only - have fun). Fridge, Hair drier and kettle in room although no cups, tea, coffee, sugar or creamer supplied. Free WiFi in each room, wall mounted TV. Check in from 15:00, check out by 10:00 Breakfast from 07:30 to 10:00. Overall, we would stay there again if we didn't go for 4+star accommodation.

Convenient location, fair price vs. room size. Numerous authentic grill & sushi restaurants nearby, not to mention it's 5 minutes walk to the Skytree and Solamachi. There is free coffee, tea and breads offered on the morning as breakfast. You can take them to the roof and enjoy the sun.

Cheap and nice hotel. It's located in Kinshicho so it's around 7-min away from Akihabara and around 30-min away from Shibuya. We had allergy reaction with their body wash last time so this time we asked them to remove it and they replied to the email. However, upon arrival they didn't remove it in the end. It's a so-so hotel if you want to stay at a cheap place with fun locations nearby.

Was given top & bottom bunk for my friend & I. However, the room smell really musty from people drying their towels & clothes around the dormitory. As it was a mixed room, the other guest tend to stare at us. It made us feel very unsafe but nothing the front counter could do. You’re able to rent amenities such as loungewear, slippers & towels & etc from 50-150yen. Charging ports are given at the beds but it’s only USB-A head which made it hard for us cos ours were all USB-C. Room was also very messy as guest lay all their luggage lying around. Totally do not recommend staying unless you’re really tight on budget & don’t mind it. We checked out 10mins after checking in.

Too narrow room due to limited space caused by twin beds. Power outlets are located near the door; and between the space of the twin beds. However, room is very clean and well-sanitized. Breakfast is so-so for us (if compared to other hotels) but has variety of drinks to choose from - coffee, milk, tea, sodas (fruit sodas, sparking water; and pepsi). The best thing with this hotel is its location - beside the Ryoguku station, which is highly accessible to Akihabara and train line going to the airport (need 1 more transfer to narita airport). Perfect ambiance since very near to Sumida river and has eye view to Tokyo Skytree tower. Enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

If you’re the kind of traveler who likes options, Hotel Plus Hostel Tokyo Asakusa 2 is a great pick. Whether you’re into minimalist capsule pods, classic dorm-style bunk beds, or want a private room with your own toilet, they have it all. I stayed in the capsule-style cabin, which felt spacious enough with its own curtain, light, and power outlet. But if you prefer more privacy, you can upgrade to a room with en-suite bathroom. This flexibility makes it perfect for solo travelers, couples, or small groups. 🚗 Getting There 3-minute walk from Asakusa Station Around 50–60 min from Narita or Haneda Airport by train or airport limousine bus Super strategic if you're planning to explore Tokyo from the east side. 🛒 What Makes It Convenient Capsule cabins, shared dorms, and private rooms (some with their own toilet and shower) Gender-separated public bath (onsen-style) – warm, clean, and relaxing after a long walk Shared shower & toilet facilities are clean and well-maintained You can send/receive Yamato (TA-Q-BIN) parcels from the front desk – super helpful for travelers with big luggage or belanjaan 🛏️ Facilities & Vibe Spacious capsule layout with good airflow, lockers for valuables Onsen bath open in the evening – best time to enjoy it is early morning (6–8 AM) or after 10 PM for quieter experience Lounge area with billiards, vending machines, shared kitchen, and laundry Cleanliness is top-notch; even shared areas feel fresh 🗺️ Nearby Attractions Senso‑ji Temple & Kaminarimon Gate – just a 5-min walk Tokyo Skytree – around 15 min by foot or 1 stop by train Sumida River – great for evening strolls Lots of convenience stores, street food, and shopping streets nearby (including Don Quijote & Asakusa Nishi-sando) ✨ Final Thoughts Whether you're a backpacker or a budget-conscious traveler wanting flexibility, this place covers your needs. The mix of capsule, shared, and private rooms gives you control over comfort and cost. It’s also ideal for those flying in or out of Tokyo — close to the airport lines and able to handle Yamato shipping. Pro Tips: Book early if you want the private room with toilet — they go fast Choose women-only or men-only dorms if you prefer a calmer vibe Take a soak in the onsen before bed — it’s the perfect way to wind down
