Overall the stay was good, breakfast was good. Room we chose is spacious enough for us to fit 3 big luggages and pack. Location is near Inaricho station or 10 min walk to Ueno station. What I don’t like about the hotel is the entrance and lobby are all staircase, I think this should be fixed in due time for a hotel to have a ramp for luggages easy access than have everyone carry them up and down 2 flight of steps.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel MYSTAYS Ueon Iriyaguchi. The hotel is ideally located, with easy access to Ueno Station and nearby attractions like Ueno Park and the Tokyo National Museum. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with modern amenities. Staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant experience. Overall, it’s a great choice for both leisure and business travelers, offering good value for money in a vibrant neighborhood. I’d definitely stay here again on my next visit to Tokyo.

Very convenient, not too far from the train station, friendly staff and it was an enjoyable stay! would recommend for those who are travelling alone or as a pair as the rooms are quite small. other than that no issue at all with the stay at the hotel and would defenitely come back!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel. We stayed in the Superior Double Room. The location is perfect in Akihabara. You're within a very reasonable walking distance of the nearest station and just a block from the main strip. On top of that, the quality of this place is really nice. They have an Italian restaurant downstairs and we ate there multiple times. We did end up adding the breakfast one day and it was alright. Our room was very clean and had plenty of space. I know hotels in Japan get a bad rep for how small they are, but this one wasn't too bad. The bed was very comfortable (and quite large) and the bathroom was really nice. We loved the room's lighting features- a mood light behind the bed made it nice for reading or taking a nap. You can also close off the hallway and bathroom from the bedroom, which helped make the room quieter. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. Just in general, the vibes of this hotel are very luxurious and high quality. When we travel back to Japan we will for sure stay here again! And because of this experience, I will be checking out their other locations around Japan. I only took videos of our room - so the pictures of the room are screenshots so that's why the quality isn't as great.
The Hibikiya is a great choice for guests looking for accommodation in Tokyo, having been recently opened in 2023. Traveling to the hotel is easy with Asakusa Station located approximately 1km away and Haneda Airport roughly 25km away. In addition, Asakusa Metro Station is just a short walk away. With multiple attractions nearby including Tokyo National Museum, Asakusa and Tokyo Cruise Asakusa Pier, guests will find plenty to keep themselves occupied. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. If cleanliness is important to you, this hotel makes an excellent choice, as our guests consider this to be one of the cleanest hotels in the city.

In Tokyo, where land is at a premium, this B&B is small, exquisite, and very Japanese-style, suitable for accommodation of less than four people. The B&B is located five minutes away from Sensoji Temple. It is surrounded by typical Japanese-style houses and there are many izakayas. Shopping, dining and transportation are very convenient. There are two toilets and a shower room on the upper and lower floors of the house. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator and washing machine, just like the picture.

This hotel is close to akihabara station and iwamotocho station. It is almost a 10~15min walk which can be a bit far if you have luggage. But since we can access two train stations it was easy to travel to other major cities. There are also many restaurants in the area. However, the room might be a bit small if you need to open many luggages. And not much sunlight comes in so the room may be a bit dark. The employee at the front desk was very helpful.
Moto Hotel Asakusa, a condominium hotel with 9 floors, is designed and constructed by a famous Japanese designer. Each room can accommodate 4 to 5 guests. The hotel is located on the roadside outside of Tokyo's oldest Jinjya, Asakusa Jinjya, and the famous Sensoji Temple. The entire building is a solid green color with an uneven balcony, from which you can see the different views of the SKYTREE every night. You may not be able to see the SKYTREE from the balcony due to bad weather or on the lower floors.
The lobby on the first floor of the hotel is a common space with a 3-meter-high wall of books, magazines, and comics in Chinese, English, and Japanese.
Next to the front desk is a 24-hour shared coin-operated laundry room. There are 2 washing machines (with automatic liquid detergent dispensing) and 2 gas dryers for quick drying and high temperature sterilization.

Great value for money in Tokyo! The room is spacious and has two small rooms. The soundproofing is better than expected! Three suitcases can be placed flat near the door. The view from the room terrace is very beautiful, you can see the Skytree and Sensoji Temple. There is no one at Sensoji Temple at night so you can take pictures slowly.

The hotel is very clean and the room is very big. It's the first time I've stayed in such a big room in Tokyo. The room has a washing machine, microwave, and cooking pots and pans.
The boss is very nice and speaks Chinese, so communication is very convenient.
The hotel is also very close to Akihabara subway station. There are many places to eat around, and there is a yakiniku restaurant that is very delicious. In short, it's very good👍

Really nice and clean hotel, it’s what you pay for I guess. They had a free drinks service (a coffee machine and a fizzy drink dispenser). They had disposable amenities at the reception and you could help yourself!
The room itself was small but that’s typical of hotels in Tokyo. The housekeeping was amazing and everything was cleaned really well.
The room had a small ‘desk’ but it barely fit my laptop. A kettle is provided just make sure you have your own water (can get water from the same place as drinks downstairs).
The walk to the station isn’t too bad but not very close. I’d also say the area is more business/corporate orientated, incredibly safe though! Lots of CVS stores nearby.
Really friendly and helpful staff at the hotel!
Overall good experience for a solo traveller. I was in the double room alone and I was a bit tight on space so maybe 2+ people might struggle a bit.

Outstanding
GGuest UserI am a book lover myself, and came to stay here for 2 nights in March a week before Easter, mainly for the library theme and book selection. The hotel itself, the book lounge, and the book libraries on each floor was all very very good. However, upon my checking in, it was obvious that the male receptionist on the left pay more attention to Caucasian guests rather than me (an Asian solo female traveller). I had the impression they just wanted to get rid of me asap, and then served the Caucasian guests behind me.
During the whole of my check in process, no one mentioned anything about the special libraries on each floor, no one told me about the free beverages offered “at the far end corner for the reception desk”, and definitely no one mentioned anything about he QRcode library tour!!! I stayed for two nights and it was only after the first night (when I read the books inside my room that I knew of ANY of the services I mentioned above). Of course one may say I could read all those on the signage’s provided in the property. But then…
Upon walking into the reception desk the next day, I did hear the same male receptionist explained in great detail (everything I mentioned above)in English to other Caucasian guests.
I like the library premise of the property, the books selections were great, exhibition on the first floor was quite nice, however, I am not sure if I would stay for a second time, knowing how they treated solo female Asian guest whom they assumed was not civilised enough (that was my impression) to deserve a thorough introduction about this lovely bookish hotel from them. Quite disappointed to be frank, especially knowing how much history this hotel has included!!
TTexas Longhorns92We returned for our next stay because if its convenient location. Even with four luggages, we manage to walk to the Shinjuku station at ease for thr Narita Express train to the airport.
GGuest UserExcellent hotel and special mention to Justyna
Location: Prime spot in the heart of Shinjuku and one minute walk to Shinjuku station exit 4, and less than five minutes to other exits.
Room: Extremely clean, modern, spacious, fantastic housekeeping.
Facilities: Washing machine, dryer, hot/cold water dispenser.
Service: Top notch hospitality from staff who are very friendly and courteous – special mention to Justyna who was extremely helpful with my queries days leading up to my check-in, as well as throughout my 7-night stay, and she always ensures that my requests are fulfilled promptly. Thank you Justyna and team!
MMommy MaricelPerfect location for Tokyo marathon runners. It is just by the starting line. Everything was great. Room super spacious and clean . We had a fantastic view of the Metropolitan Building with led lights show. Food so good in the buffet. Service is excellent.
GGuest UserLocation is very good next to Nakamise street and not far from Sensoji temple and Dongky , clean and neat new hotel & room, toilet is superior other hotel recent to stay here when I visit Tokyo next time
AAnonymous UserI arrived early morning hence was only able to leave my luggage at the reception. Check in was at 2pm and the hotel was nice to accept my request prior to booking for a room on the ladies floor for security reasons and I am also a solo traveller. Amenities like toothbrush, comb and tea packets are provided at the reception too. My only wish is that I hope in future the Hotel can provide at least an international or English movie channel for foreign guests.
AAnonymous Useri booked the triple room as it was the only room left. there was space for only 1 large luggage - the room was a little old but bed and duvet surprisingly comfy. onsen was small so it got a little crowded as the hotel was full that night. location was great - tho the nearest ikebukuro stn exit with lift, C9 (vs 20b), is a little further from the station. excellent authentic chinese food nearby (豪妈 on google maps), and a family mart just across the street. great hotel!
GGuest UserI love the location it’s super convenient. Staff are super polite and smiley.
Service wise is not good too many strange rules firstly, there is no phone in the room. In case u need one it’s near the elevator on each floor to speak to the staff.
The twin bed are way too big for us 2/3 of the room. I can’t even open my suitcase easily.
Only one elevator in this 14 storeys hotel right next to their emergency stairways. There is a sign saying if you are in a rush please use the stairways but we were on the higher floor and it’s so cold February a few degrees Celsius ???? Well no thanks I shall wait patiently then……
No daily cleaning service we stayed 5 nights the hotel offered one time cleaning during our stay. All the dirty linens and garbage have to be placed outside your door by 10am if new towels needed. Strangely one bottle complimentary water was given to 2 guests daily together in a bag of towels and slippers toothbrush garbage bags. Only one washing machine ¥600 35mins, dryer ¥300 60mins available (cashless payment only) Onsen too small and poor facilities.
Ooki explorerThis is a good location especially if you’re going to Disneyland. There are 3 train stations around the hotel within 5min walk. Its very convenient and spacious. Would stay there again. It is also close to Haneda airport. I don’t like to stay in the metropolitan area so this is a perfect location for us. They have lockers for early arrivals and also has a McDonalds attach to the hotel with convenient store. We also got a good view!!!
