I was very satisfied. The breakfast spread was excellent and diverse; I stayed for ten consecutive days and ate breakfast at the hotel every morning, and it never got repetitive. My absolute favorites were the Eggs Benedict and the Japanese breakfast. The hotel's front desk staff had no issues communicating in English and always offered a friendly greeting whenever we entered or left. The restaurant staff were also very warm and welcoming.

My 2 nights' stay was really pleasant. The staff was really thoughtful and efficient at check in and checkout. I would love to return to this hotel when I'm staying in Ueno again. The location is excellent.

The room, though compact, is very well-equipped, and the lobby and room decor are quite appealing. The bedding is comfortable, and it's relatively quiet. The location is superb: Ueno Station is just a 3-minute walk, and Keisei Ueno Station (with direct trains to Narita) is within a 10-minute walk. However, given the room's small size, the large armchair and coffee table feel a bit excessive and take up valuable space; perhaps they could be removed. Occasionally, there's an unpleasant odor from the bathroom.

The service was incredibly warm and friendly. Housekeeping was prompt and efficient, keeping the rooms spotless. The location was fantastic, making it very easy to get around. You can conveniently walk to places like Kaminarimon and Kiyomizu-dera, and there are plenty of convenience stores nearby. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend it!

Room is small but that isn't atypical for Tokyo.
Room is clean. Breakfast is made to order. It is OK.
The service is terrible. I needed an extra pillow for my knees and they refused to provide...they have only a limited number than can be rented out. So I found an extra pillow in the fold-out couch and asked them for a pillow case. They not only refused to give me a pillow case, they confiscates the pillow and gave me a blanket to use as a leg pillow instead...which means I could not sleep comfortably. This is the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced.
The location is good and near restaurants, the metro, and convenience stores.
There are no amenities worth noting here.

good location, near Iriya exit of Ueno station. very convenient to travel from/to Narita airport via Skyliner. It's close to the Ueno Park, ueno Zoo.
spacious room with 4 beds. two single beds next to each other and two bunk beds. good for family travel. Toilet, wash basin and bath tub are operated. Good for 3 people using the bathroom facility at the same time.
good restaurants nearby.
The room has refrigerator, microwave, oven, wash basin, washing machine. So, it's good for a.long stay. It's more like a service apartment.
What can be improved - the blind does not completely dark out during day time. Therefore, you can see sunlight from 6:00-6:30am. There is no lotion. Staff is nice. You can leave your luggage at the luggage deposit room. Mostly self-service. I don't think they have breakfast service.

It’s our first time in Tokyo. My family and I stayed in standard double bedrooms which have windows. We are really impressed with the hotel’s service. They have luggage deposit service for free. You can deposit your luggage before you check in and after you check out. They adjusted the direction of the escalator for us. The overall of rooms’ size and hotel is quite small, but it doesn’t bother that much. The location is so great that you can visit many famous shops like Uniqlo, Donki, GU near the place. And, it’s near a market and the train station including KS line. The restaurants near here are nice. The food tasted so delicious, even if we just randomly chose to eat. However, Ueno has a lot of clubs, so at night there’re several girls standing alongside the street with their guards. It may seem dangerous for someone.

The location is superb. It is near to metro, 7-11 and Family mart. And most important, near to Ueno park. The hotel is clean and new.

Amazing
GGuest UserFor Tokyo, the room size here was fantastic! It's a one-bedroom suite with a separate living area. The bedroom, about three tatami mats in size, felt just right. Even with a table in the living area, it was easy to move around, creating plenty of extra space. A mini-fridge was also a bonus!
I made sure to visit the communal bathhouse and hot spring on the 6th floor almost every day – it was incredibly relaxing! Kimono robes were also provided in the room, and the bathroom featured a convenient wet/dry separation. Overall, the room offered plenty of functional space.
The location is conveniently situated between Akihabara and Ueno. The only minor inconvenience was the uphill walk to and from the hotel, which could be a bit tiring, but it was perfect for a post-dinner stroll to digest! Just around the corner on a side street, there's a large supermarket that's great for browsing. Absolutely fantastic! It will definitely be my first choice for future visits!

GGuest UserThe front desk staff speaks Chinese. The hotel is very new. Each guest receives a complimentary capsule coffee each day. The room is small but fully furnished, including furniture, appliances, tableware, a washing machine, and a dryer. It's very clean. This was the most comfortable place to stay during my trip to Tokyo. Being able to do laundry and cooking felt very homely. There's a fruit and vegetable shop and convenience store downstairs.
It's a five or six minute walk to Montbell, Uniqlo, and Art Sports. Wacoal sports bras are great on the second floor of Art Sports, and the service is excellent.

HHan SeokClean hotel in a popular location and great service. It's in a convenient location, but about 10+ minute walk to the nearest subway station. No luggage storage after checkout, but there are plenty of coin lockers nearby so that wasn't a big problem.
