Great view from room, staff were very accommodating and friendly, especially Ms. Watanabe at the front desk with her smile! They accepted our bags the day prior and even froze some foods I wanted to take home with me and sent a bag to my next destination for me. They even have a 7-11 on the first floor, very convenient! Views were amazing and room amenities were great!
Drawbacks are: no microwaves or laundry machines for personal/guest use, but they do have laundry service. You also enter from ground/2nd floor and go to the 20th floor for reception, then cross over the lobby to get to guest rooms. A little bit of a hassle but not too bad. Bathroom door wouldn't stay open and it was hard to open the closet as there were no door handles but everything else was up to standard in the rooms.

It's been a week since I returned from Tokyo, and I finally have time to sit down and write a review for this hotel. Let's start with the pros:
1. The location is generally good, though not as 'super unbeatable' as some reviews claim. Perhaps because it happened to be raining that day, and my phone's navigation wasn't very reliable, we ended up circling Shinjuku Station multiple times and it took us at least 30 minutes to find the hotel. Actually, if you exit Shinjuku South Gate and turn right, walk about 200 meters down a slight slope (it was slippery in the rain, a bit tough on shoes), then turn left after Wendy's, go straight until you see a FamilyMart, and the hotel is right across from it. The whole walk should take about 5 minutes. The hotel is conveniently located next to a subway entrance, making transportation very easy. Shinjuku Station's 3rd floor houses the express bus terminal, where you can find self-service ticketing machines with Chinese language options. A 1500 JPY ticket takes you directly to Haneda Airport. Shinjuku truly has everything you could ask for. Within a kilometer of the hotel, you'll find plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options. Kabukicho isn't too far either. It gets very crowded at night, and it's easy to get lost. Within 200 meters of the hotel, there's a McDonald's and a sports store. There's also a FamilyMart across the street, though you need to walk a bit further and cross a pedestrian crossing. Surprisingly, this particular FamilyMart doesn't sell stamps!
2. Conveniently, there's a shuttle bus service to and from Narita and Haneda airports right downstairs. However, just to be safe, I still opted to drag my luggage to the main bus terminal to catch my ride.
3. The staff members were generally very enthusiastic and helpful. In particular, a slightly overweight gentleman with glasses at check-out proactively assisted me with luggage storage and the self check-out process. The only exception was the young lady who handled my check-in; her speech was quite fast, giving the impression she was a bit rushed.
4. The lobby offered a wide array of complimentary self-service amenities, including makeup remover, facial cleanser, toner, lotion, toothpaste and toothbrushes, hair ties, razors, and cotton pads, as well as tea bags and coffee. These items pretty much covered all daily skincare needs, which was incredibly convenient. The facial cleanser, in particular, was quite good.
5. Although the room was small, it was well-equipped. Upon check-in, the front desk assigned me to the top floor, the 14th. The card-key access for the elevator provided an added sense of security. From the window, I could see the Don Quijote store in the distance, though it wasn't noticeable at night. In the daytime, I noticed the building opposite had rooftop exhaust fans – fortunately, the soundproofing was excellent, and I couldn't hear any noise from them inside the room. My favorite part was the air conditioning. Every day, after returning hot and tired, I'd set the temperature to 20 degrees Celsius and maximum fan speed, and the entire room would cool down in less than ten minutes. In the mornings, I'd hang out the 'Please clean' sign, and upon my return, the room would be spotless. However, the corridor was a bit winding, requiring two turns to reach my room. There was a laundry room next to the elevator, although I didn't use it. The pillows were very comfortable; I slept soundly both nights.
Of course, there are a few areas for improvement:
1. The young lady at the front desk during check-in wore a mask and spoke English quite quickly, giving the impression that she wanted to finish up quickly. It would have been better if guests could see a genuine smile.
2. The round mirror in the room faced directly towards the bed, which felt a bit unsettling. I hope the hotel can consider the cultural sensitivities of Chinese guests.
3. The toothbrush provided was really subpar; the bristles were too hard, and I actually made my gums bleed while brushing.
Overall, this hotel is still quite good and will be on my list for future stays.

Very convenient just 5mins to Shinjuku Station. Very clean and most importantly, ample space to open our suitcase wide, seldom seen in most Tokyo hotels. Space is wisely designed for guests’ good usage. Tv many local and overseas channels. Totally value for money, will stay again for sure

The hotel is new and immaculately clean. The location is superb; right downstairs, you'll find numerous excellent restaurants and large shopping malls. It's situated in the heart of the most vibrant area and is directly connected to Shibuya Scramble Square. Overall, it offers great value for money for a charming boutique hotel.

The service was absolutely excellent, from the customer service team to the lobby staff. They provided luggage assistance during both check-in and check-out, and were incredibly patient when answering all my questions.
The location is incredibly convenient, with superb public transport links, being very close to the JR and subway stations. There are also countless fantastic dining options nearby, and it's just a short walk to Shibuya Crossing.
Housekeeping kept the rooms spotlessly clean every single day.
This was, without a doubt, the most satisfying hotel among the three I stayed at in Japan. I felt incredibly happy throughout my stay, right from the moment I checked in. I will definitely choose Blue Tower Hotel again on my next visit to Japan! Oh, and the sunset views from the hotel were absolutely stunning!

Shibuya Hotel Excell is very nearest and accessible to all. Like train station and Shibuya Busy Road, which is i love seeing from the room hotel what people are working hard and busy hours. Also there's a lot of branded malls and soviegners shops. Best recommend to all the tourist planning shibuya.

Location is good and the restaurant, Hush Hush, has good food and service. Rooms are typical small Tokyo rooms and there’s a certain smell which I can’t place even though they were clean. Even at the 12th floor, we could hear the cars and noise. Concierge service can be better. When we asked for a couple of bottled water for my son and my mother ( 82 years old)considering it was very hot, they told us it was only for checked in guests. We just checked out at that time (our luggage was still with them) and I saw a couple of white people who asked and they gave them water.

Hotel provides amenities. There is gym, lounge area to have your meals or just chill around. Smoking area at the lobby. Hotel is oppositie Parco. Room is very small. Having a toddler is hard in the room. But it's very clean. It's slightly up slope from the metro station.

Hotel is nice, location is also good in a quiet side of shibuya but walking distance. Hotel is limited service so they will not clean the rooms but they will replace towels when you place service card on the door. Overall is good for the price. There is also family mart downstairs and couple of good coffee shops and breakfast place nearby. 5mins to the new south exit of JR east

Shibuya stay was a refreshing change from
My life. Being able to walk to any meal was amazing. Close enough to take to trying as well if I needed to go further. There are several photo ops for those that would like the socials. The coup de grace for me is the washer and dryer in the room. 10/10 would recommend and stay again.

Ddanielhu2011The hotel is in a fantastic location; the lobby is on the 12th floor. Taking the elevator down to the 1st floor, you step right onto the main street, with Don Quijote directly across, making shopping incredibly convenient. The hotel service was also excellent. They provided a comprehensive information guide containing all necessary details for a comfortable stay, which effectively helped avoid any language barrier issues. The only drawback, however, was the cost; my high-floor Shibuya Crossing view room was the priciest I've ever booked. Additionally, a taxi from Haneda Terminal 3 to the hotel cost 8510 JPY. For three of us with two large suitcases, this price was perfectly acceptable and significantly more convenient.

Very Good
TTexasfrogsGem of a hotel in the heart of Shibuya!
LOCATION
2min walk to Shibuya station (though the actual train line is probably another 10min walk away).
10min walk to Shibuya scramble.
10min walk to Harajuku and 15min walk to Omotesando, 18min walk to Harajuku/ Takeshita street.
30min train ride to Ginza.
Overall SUPERB location to explore those areas of Tokyo.
Right across the hotel is a mall (Miyashita Park) and of course all the convenience stores within a 3-5min walk.
TIP: There is a airport bus shuttle (USD22/one way) at Shibuya station. It looks walkable on the map, but if you have 2-3 luggage, it would be a great challenge to navigate through the human jungle to the shuttle bus pick up point. I would highly suggest taking a cab to the bus station :) It's about a 1.5 hour very comfortable journey, including one other hotel pick up. There is a locked luggage store room at the hotel lobby, so you can leave your bags there after check out.
ROOM
Room is functional and well maintained. And most importantly - CLEAN, with 4 pillows! Bed was firm and comfortable.
I stayed in a 11sqm room, at first I was very apprehensive about being cooped up in a capsule type of room, but the design and layout made the room spaces very usable - for one big luggage, and a cabin size luggage. The room was very clean, bare amenities - but more than enough - slippers, pajamas, tooth brush and tooth paste, 1 body towel and 1 hand towel. The shower had a rain bath and bath gel/ shampoo. Rest of the room had a fridge, safe and hair dryer.
Check in was done via a machine on the second floor and there is a cafe on that same level. Even though check in was automated, there are very friendly staff there to assist.
Rooms are well sound insulated so there was not much noise from the street (from 10th floor) and no noise from the rooms next door, only noise was from the vacuuming (after 10am) from room service.
TV has pre-installed Youtube and Netflix.
FOOD
There is a breakfast menu - western style - see attached picture.
Cafe on level 2 and another cafe on level 1. Lots of other options around the hotel so go out and explore!

Very Good
호호두과자It was a relatively good place among the murderous accommodation prices in Shibuya. It is close to either Yoyogi Park Station or Yoyogi Hachiman Station. Self-check-in using a tablet was a bit unfamiliar, but Korean is supported. All amenities such as towels, slippers, locks, and toothbrushes are paid. (I was a little surprised that they didn't even provide towels.) Hair dryers cannot be used between 11 PM and 6:30 AM. Thanks to this, it is quiet. The next morning, I had brunch at the cafe on the first floor, and it was delicious.
AAlfred S.There were 3 of us, overall we liked everything very much. There is a stove, microwave, kettle, steamer and hair dryer. There is also a washing machine and liquid powder for it, the instructions are clear and even without it the machine is not complicated. The bathroom has a good exhaust fan (it is turned on by pressing the buttons near the door, please note that there is a heated ventilation that heats up a lot, as I understand it, this is a dryer function (”hair dryer”) to dry the bathroom itself or make the air warm for taking a shower, this heated ventilation also helped to dry hanging things after washing. In general, everything you might need is there, even fans with humidification and cooling of the air, the air conditioner itself is powerful, works well. On the upper (second) floor of the room, the temperature is generally slightly warmer due to the physics of air exchange (warm air always rises to the top). The owner corrected this by having good fans, it's nice. In general, the owner himself (or the manager, I don't know who exactly I talked to in the chat) is very responsive and helps with everything, it's nice to talk. For Europeans, it may seem cramped and there is not enough space, but in general, this is everywhere in the country, these apartments for this country are still quite spacious (large), even in hotels there is much less space, be prepared. Us not very constrained because I repeat, these apartments are quite spacious. Our room was on the 2nd floor of the house, go up the stairs. The stairs may also surprise you, because everything in the country is quite indoor :) But this is also not a problem, you will get used to it quickly in shops and restaurants there are even less :) In the house, as I understand it, there are about 5 rooms in total. Signs ask to keep quiet, no noise and everyone listens to these signs. It was very quiet and comfortable. The metro stations are 5-7 minutes walk away, convenient. The nearest station is Hatagaya (Hatagaya Station), but there are two more nearby. On the way to Hatagaya station there are many shops and cafes, there were 6-7 different cafes in all of them it was delicious, in all of them there were many locals. The nearest store for locals is Santoku, pay attention to it, local and pleasant products and prices are bought there. I would come here again, we really liked the hotel (apartments).
MM224104****Check-in convenience: I checked in at the front desk, which was pretty easy.
Safety: It's a very quiet area and felt very safe.
Facilities: I don't understand the logic behind this hotel, so I booked for four women, but there were actually three of us, because I was afraid it would be a youth hostel and they'd booked in another person.
Pros: The room had a table, microwave, induction cooktop, and more. Plenty of space. The shower was quite comfortable.
Cons: There was no washbasin, so I had to use the sink, which was a bit cramped and leaked. The bathroom was always ventilated, which was a bit noisy when sleeping, and the door wouldn't close properly from the outside.
The location is really good, though. Yoyogi Station is a 200-meter walk away, and there's a supermarket along the way. However, Yoyogi Station has two exits, so be careful to avoid being scammed (Google Maps tells you to enter and exit the underground to transfer, but if you don't, you'll be charged 150 yen). This proves that the two exits serve as two transportation hubs, making it very comprehensive. Shinjuku Takashimaya and Shinjuku Main Station are also within walking distance. In general, the price/performance ratio is absolutely acceptable. I just hope that the merchant can improve the facilities a little more. Thank you, ありがとう
