Can't store, can't store, can't store. Asked the front desk where there is a paid storage near the front desk. The old lady at the front desk was very impatient and had a bad attitude. She just shook her head. Check out before 10 o'clock. The front desk service when checking in was OK.

The single smoking room was nice and not cramped for the 10,000 yen price range.
The location is on the west side of Ikebukuro Station, but I had a little trouble finding the Royal Hotel, probably because I'm not familiar with the area.

Last year, I stayed at a Toyoko Inn on the same west side, but the Royal Hotel was easier to find from the station.
