The hotel is not far from Ikebukuro station. The location is a bit worse due to the entrance from the alley. The hotel receptionist smiled when meeting us and provided free breakfast, which started at 7 o'clock. Since we wanted to go to Kawaguchiko to take our breakfast before 6:30, the waiter refused with a stern face, so the service can only be given 4 points. The room was tidy and clean.

Staff is friendly and the breakfast bar is simple. Location is extremely convenient, there are escalators from the underground train network leading to the hotel, through west exit C6. Room is utilitarian and there are no views, but the location alone makes it worth it especially for the pricing.
Building feels a little dated and sometimes the towel smells of cigarettes, but is still very clean.

Very cost-effective hotel, price, location and service are great, especially the 12 o'clock check-out, which is normally 10 o'clock in the morning in Japan. I will book again next time if I have the chance
