The road to the accommodation was difficult, but it was nice that it was right near the station, and the road to the accommodation was pretty and easy to take a walk! The inside of the accommodation was clean and the amenities were good! I think it's worth the price! However, the shower facilities were small, so it was best to wake up early in the morning, enjoy the ryokan, and then wash up! Haha, I was satisfied with the accommodation in all aspects!!

To be honest, I didn't have any expectations about going to a ryokan in Tokyo.
The room is much smaller than expected and there is a lot of dust, so much so that you can see it.
However, it is worth recommending that the bathing facilities (hot springs) were so enjoyable to use, and the breakfast was prepared well.
Although it is not enough to enjoy a full day in the ryokan, it is recommended for those who want to play outside, come to the accommodation, relieve the fatigue of the trip with a hot spring bath, and experience a Japanese breakfast.
It is 2 minutes away from the subway station, and you can also get to Shibuya and Shinjuku within 30 minutes. There are convenience stores (Lawson, 7-Eleven) at the nearest station, and a 10-minute walk away is a bar that is open until dawn.
I recommend it to anyone who wants to experience a ryokan in Tokyo.
Find ryokans in Fukuoka, Osaka, and Sapporo.

Best experience in suburban Tokyo. It doesn’t feel like you’re in the city at all. Shimokitazawa also has a lot to offer, there were lots of restaurants, cafes and vintage shops. Definitely a must stay. Highly recommend to try the Sojyu Spa at the hotel as well. Exemplary service.

An amazing, high-end yet traditional ryokan in a cool neighborhood not far from everything in Tokyo. The onsen was amazing. My wife and I used it at least once and sometimes twice per day. Small but comfortable rooms with Japanese charm. Beautiful style and good food. Treat yourself to something very different from the typical western hotel experience.

An authentic experience in a hip area of Tokyo. Close to the subway. Wonderful thrifting opportunities. A young and vibrant college atmosphere in the neighborhood. Don't miss the included Japanese breakfast and of course the Osen. The shower in the immaculate room was one of the very best I ever experience in my whole life.

Great Experience
Wonderful first night in Tokyo experience. Modern onsen hotel with traditional feel. Beautiful on-site onsen area.

Zen & peaceful environment
The room was spacious and had a nice organic japanese zen style. However, lighting are not bright enough when I need to look for things in my luggage. It would be nice if it could have an option of dim and bright lights.
The onsen was great, not crowded at all, and it came with a nice little complementary treat.

Beautiful onsen and overall property. Lovely quiet relaxing location away from central Tokyo, but easy to travel to and from. Perfect end to a beautiful stay in Japan.
