1. Did not inform the room number, password and door password in advance
2. The sound insulation is very poor, very poor
3. The sanitary facilities are not complete, there are only 2 toilets and 1 bathroom on the first floor
Not informing the check-in information in advance is really too much!!! I didn’t get in after 10 o’clock in the evening!!!

The sound insulation is not very good and any sound can be heard very clearly. On the day of check-in, the only lady on site could not understand English and insisted on asking me to provide my room number before I could check in. Even when I showed her the order form, she said she wanted to know. Because of the language barrier, I had to stand on the first floor and wait for an hour and a half before I finally asked trip customer service to contact the landlord and provide the room number. However, the entire itinerary for the day was ruined.
Please consider the size of your luggage if you want to check in, as there is no elevator and only very narrow stairs.

Fantastic location, minutes to the subway and a few steps around the corner to Nakamise and Senso-ji temple. Clean, compact - very, only downside is the rooms are not soundproofed and with the bathrooms located outside of the rooms, those coming in late or leaving early can be heard. Ok if people are considerate, but in our case they were not. However we would stay again because of the amazing location, right in the thick of it, and a women only hostel.
