Ryogoku River Hotel

Good location Not clean Breakfast included No problem if you just want to sleep

It was close to the station, clean, and the staff were very friendly. Everything was old, the doors to other rooms were very loud, and the window curtains were very tight.

I stayed here on a business trip. The location was good and it was easy to access. The breakfast was a light one, but it was filling and satisfying. Good value for money.

If only it were a little cleaner, it would be a very romantic and nice accommodation.

Very considerate service

Located diagonally opposite the west exit of JR Ryogoku Station, it is convenient for travel, but the price is the constant noise of the train all day long (not bad at night). It is an old hotel with a long history, so you can't be too demanding on the facilities. The room is not big but the double bed is big enough. Breakfast is a few simple foods every day, sausage, salad, natto, seaweed, rice, miso soup, coffee and tea, which can fill your stomach. The front desk staff are quite polite. The small barbecue restaurant next to it (there is a small door leading to the hotel lobby) tastes good, and guests can get a 5% discount if they pay in cash. There is Kirishima next to it, and the whole small building is his home; there are many sumo hot pot restaurants nearby, each with its own merits. Not far behind the hotel is the Sumida River, with long trails on both sides, and you can walk to Asakusa in 20 minutes.
