Keio Presso Inn Tokyo Kudanshita Reviews

When we stayed in this area last month in a bigger hotel, we noticed this hotel on a quiet side street very close to to Kudanshita Station on the Tozai Line. From Tokyo Station, head out the South (Marunouchi) exit following the signs for Otemachi Station on the Tozai Line. From there it’s just two stops to Kudanshita. Take exit 7, cross the street going past the Excelsior coffee shop to the hotel. Check-in was fast and simple (English-speaking staff). As we booked on the same day, there was only a smaller size double room left, but we slept well. 8th floor, no traffic noise. Shower was great. TV was easy to use. Could use QR code to sign into my YouTube and Netflix accounts securely. We bought food for a light breakfast in Aeon supermarket across the road. There is a breakfadt space downstairs or you can eat in Excelsior (try the “morning service”).

I stayed here because there was a live concert at Tokyo Dome. It was conveniently located near Kudanshita Station. I have stayed at Keio Presso Inn in a few different places, and although it is small, it is comfortable and quiet, the breakfast is delicious, and the staff are kind, so I like it. This time, I stayed at the hotel when they were doing exterior wall construction, and I was notified when I checked in. I didn't pay much attention to it because I was not staying at the hotel, but when I checked in and headed to my room to put my luggage away, the smell of paint was so strong from the hallway to the room that I was a little worried. However, when I returned to the hotel after the concert, the smell was gone, and I could see that they had taken care to ventilate the room. I would like to use it again when there is a live concert at Tokyo Dome or Budokan.

The hotel is conveniently located 5 minutes away from Kudanshita subway station and 15 minutes away from Budokan. There are several ramen restaurants nearby. It is very suitable for dinner after watching the live show.

It's far from the city center, but the view is amazing. It was a 15-minute taxi ride from Narita Airport. There are no convenience stores nearby, so if you do your shopping near the airport, you can wake up to a lush green view in the morning. Shaving soap is provided, so it's recommended for men. Women, don't forget to bring cleansing soap.
