Very strange rooms at Hyatt House Tokyo Shibuya.
This hotel had really weird rooms. The interior was extremely basic — plain white walls and almost no character. There are two types of rooms: twin rooms, which are massive, and king rooms, which are half the size — yet both are priced the same. Of course, all the twin rooms were fully booked, and only the small king rooms were available. Why they designed it this way is beyond me.
Also, the renovation quality is oddly poor for a Hyatt. I know it’s a different branch (Hyatt House), but still — for a four-star Hyatt property, this was way too basic and underwhelming. Definitely not up to expectations.
And one more thing I absolutely hate — the 11:00 a.m. checkout policy that some hotels in Japan have. Not only do they make you leave at 11 sharp, but here they literally called the room at 11:01 to remind us to check out. No grace period, no flexibility, just “get out.” Super unfriendly. Just be warned — they will kick you out at 11:00 on the dot.

雖然第一次去位置有點難找，但是熟悉了周邊道路之後真就是絕佳，能從一個空中天橋直通到澀谷jr站和地鐵站，離機場大巴站大概也就五六分鐘路程。
設施方面，房內有洗衣機電磁爐等基本家電，冰箱也挺大的，還有膠囊咖啡機等等。房間內的衞生情況也很好。housekeeping等服務也很到位，符合日本水準。

The location is hard to find. It's far from everywhere. There are many restaurants, but they are all pretending to be high-end. They are not affordable and taste bad. Otherwise, you have to queue up and can't eat. The hygiene is very poor. When I checked in, I found that the toilet had not been cleaned. I won't post the picture for fear of disgusting others. The surface decoration looks white and clean, but there are juice stains from the previous owner next to the kitchen sink, which can be seen that it has not been wiped. I don't know if it's dirt or mud around the bathtub. Anyway, everything that can be wiped with a white cloth is black. The room type I chose has floors 6-14. It is a big room in Tokyo. The location is super convenient. There are harbour cake shops, supermarkets, subway stations, JR and shopping nearby. You can walk to Shibuya Crossing and Parco for shopping. The kitchen facilities and utensils are complete. The best thing is that there is a washing machine and dryer. It is a must for family travel~~~Highly recommended
