Hotels near Aoto Station, Tokyo

Upon our initial check-in, the staff were extremely accomodating and could speak proper English in conversation. The ambiance of the hotel was amazing, it was extremely convenient that breakfast lounge was next to concierge. The room itself was extremely clean and housekeeping staff was very attentive to our needs. It was incredibly close to the station and it was very nice after a long day. We will definitely use this hotel again when we visit Tokyo.

We stayed in 5 hotels during our stay in Japan. This one was a disappointment. We got attitude from the staff. The rooms reeked of smoke. When I went down to exchange my room I was told the place was sold out (didn't believe it). Rooms were your typical tiny rooms and old-fashioned. Yes, the rooms were cheap, but I would have to place this hotel way below a Motel 6. Our visit was before the pandemic so masks and hand sanitizers were not required.

Excellent for price and location hotel. Friendly staff, comfortable beds. Close to 3 minute Asakusabashi Station and and one stop from Akihabara. Hotel has coin-op laundry and bicycles that are available for rent from the hotel for super cheap. Bathroom is a little small if you are over 6ft / 185cm but its going to be that way all across Tokyo. So good I went back to this hotel after leaving Tokyo to visit Okinawa. Dont get stuck in a capsule hotel or Apa hotel when you could stay here.

There is a nice hot bath (men and women in seperated areas with 1 hot bath, 1 cold bath, a small open air bath and a sauna). In the separated areas are 3 washing mashines for men and 2 for women. Washing was for free but drying did cost extra. At 9:30 pm you could get free ramen and it was delicious. We booked ”no cleaning”, so we got towels and the trash was thrown out, when we put the trash bin in front of our hotel room before 10 am. The hotel staff does give you 2 pudding and 2 waterbottles for free in the beginning (it's in the fridge), but if you ask for more water downstairs at the reception, they will tell you, that they charge 200 yen per waterbottle (330 ml). But at around 2 pm till evening you could get yourself softdrinks, coffee and tea for free at the 2 floor.

Near train station and walking distance to Akihabara. Unfortunately I had to book a smoking room as it was the last room. The air-con do have a smell each time we turned it on. Other than that it was ok. Room was clean. Great onsen but a bit small. Free ice cream and ramen every night and probiotic drinks in morning. Free flow of coffee and tea. Will try to book early the next time. Will definitely return.

No front desk service from 23:00 to 12:00. You need to call them if you want to check in during that time. Room is small but it has enough space to open a large suitcase. It's super close to kanda station and there's convenience stores nearby so overall the location is great.

The hotel staff are polite and the location is okay. The room I stayed in was really small. If there were more than one large suitcase, there would probably be no room to open it. I just forgot to take pictures.

For various reasons we had to extend our stay by another night and were pleased to do so. It allowed us to experience K’shiki restaurant as well as Tapas Molecular Bar which we were already booked into. Osamu Okazaki ensured that our check in went extremely smoothly and offered services which made us feel very welcomed. He really did relieve the stress that had been caused by the day’s events. The room was magnificent and allowed us to totally unwind. The hotel is close enough to places of interest to fill your time if needs be. The restaurants were exceptional. K’shiki with it’s vague nod towards italian cuisine was exceptional. We chose Chef’s Dinner Menu and each course was interesting and surprising. Service was exceptional. Tapas Molecular Bar is one of those restaurants which is really special in the world. It’s hard to write a review without ruining the surprises. Suffice to say with only seating for eight you really do need to consider your reservation well in advance. Chef Kento Ushikubo is as talented as it gets. His food is intense in taste, creative and in many cases just baffling. He could almost be a member of the Magic Circle with the illusions he creates. One of the most thoughtful and considerate people I have met, and meet him you do because he is with you preparing everything throughout the meal, you just wanted to applaud with a standing ovation at the end. He made it particularly special for our wedding anniversaries and I can’t say how because it would spoil another illusion. I was just staggered that with all our experience of eating throughout the world we were introduced to new experiences. Spoiler alert; I cannot believe his ‘powdered ice cream’ has not been ‘borrowed’ by other chefs. Sadly, unless we manage to return, some of those experiences will be a once in a lifetime event. We got the room that was bigger than the average room. The hotel is clean. The location was great too. The subway Just the opposite of the hotel and very near to Tsukiji subway station. Very near to ginza area. There are 3 convenient store nearby, 1 just beside the hotel. We are from Indonesia, and were very lucky to meet the Indonesian’ receptiont, she was very kind. And the japanese receptiont were very helpful too. They let us keep our luggage at the reception before the check in time. Its a wonderful stay! Very recommended and will be back for sure :)

Adequate room size, clean (comes with air filter), complete amenities are provided and then some. They also have a self-service, first-come-first-serve locker/baggage room in case you arrive early before check-in time ( I believe it's also available if you checked-out and require a place to leave your luggage before moving to your next destination). Location wise, although it was manageable, it's still quite a distance from Shinjuku Stn and can be a challenge if lugging a suitcase or traveling with a kid. Overall is was a good experience, a nice comfortable space worth its price tag.
