Pretty generic cheap hotel
Good choice if you are not fussed about the services and want a cheap option 

The hotel is in dilapidated condition
The room and the beds are very big. The bathroom is generic

The carpets are not really clean and have weird smell which we become used to after some time.

Overnight stay in a convenient location. Large, clean room at a reasonable price.

This is a practical and well located hotel in the beautiful county of Devon. Without question, the staff are the hotel’s best asset, very friendly and helpful. I would go as far as to say they are exceptional.. The rooms are comfortable and the beds ensure a good night sleep.  Breakfast is more than adequate, but the evening food offering was somewhat disappointing, although it wasn’t bad either. The most negative aspect of this hotel was the poor in-room cleanliness, the wet areas particularly behind the toilet were dirty and there was dust and cobwebs behind the bed. Further, the hotels ‘accessible’rooms are not really practical for wheelchair users. ….They are usable/manageable but not without some difficultiesz  In summary, the  hotel is probably worth 3.5 out of 5, if management were to improve the cleanliness of this hotel it would definitely score better. Finally, we would like to thank all the staff for making our stay enjoyable!

I wasn't expecting much but this hotel blew me away. It is a budget hotel, the rooms are dated but large, clean and comfortable. The staff very friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was delicious, lots to choose,  from cereals, fruit, pastries to a well cooked full English. A lovely veiw from our window. Better then a well known chain. We would not hesitate to return. Good value for money.

The location is very good, not far from gas stations, big supermarkets and small towns, about ten minutes' walk away, the hotel’s service attitude is very good, breakfast is very good
