Η διαμονή μας πραγματοποιήθηκε τέλος Ιανουαρίου (27/1 με 30/1). Επισκεφθήκαμε το νησί για το έθιμο με τα φαναράκια. Το δωμάτιο ήταν καθαρό και τακτοποιημένο. Το πρωινό, μας το σέρβιραν στο δωμάτιο σε συγκεκριμένη ώρα. Η πρόσφατη ανακαίνιση του ξενοδοχείου δείχνει την αναβάθμιση των υπηρεσιών και την ποιότητα διαμονής. Επίσης στο cafe-bar bistrot1923 έχεις τη δυνατότητα να πιείς το ποτό σου και να χαλαρώσεις.

Κλείσαμε 3κλινο, το οποίο ήταν 2κλινο με ράντζο, χωρίς να μας ενημερώσουν. Στο δωμάτιο, υπήρχε και καναπες, κάτι που δεν μασ άφησε καθόλου χώρο για τις αποσκευές μας. Όταν ζητήσαμε από τον ιδιοκτήτη, τουλάχιστον να απομακρύνει τον καναπέ, έστειλε την καθαρίστρια να το σηκώσει μόνη της, χωρίς να τη βοηθήσουν κάποιος από τους ιδιοκτήτες( 2 άντρες). Τη βοήθησε μια από εμάς. Τώρα για τις άθλιες, χιλιοχρησιμοποιημενες πετσέτες, και τα υπόλοιπα που μου έκαναν αρνητική εντύπωση δεν θα τα αναφέρω. Αρκεί μόνο ο απαράδεκτος ιδιοκτήτης, που μας κοιτούσε λες κ μας φιλοξενούσε χωρις αντίτιμο για το 1 αστέρι. Τόσο αγενή συμπεριφορά δεν έχω συναντήσει ξανά.

Beautiful old style building with plenty of character. It is family run and very friendly. I was fortunate in having a room with a balcony facing the seafront and I would not have been so happy with a room that had less. There is no lift so not suitable for some disabled people unless you accept being on the ground floor. The breakfast buffet is sumptuous with a wide selection of local produce and some luxurious items like halva. The only drawback was the coffee - made early in the morning and allowed to get cold. There are some excellent cafes and restaurants nearby. Make sure to purchase bottled water soon as you arrive because there wasn't any in my room and the tap water is not for drinking. It is close to the town centre and seafront. The nearest beach was too far for me to walk but there are buses in high season and always there are taxis.

The minute you walk up the steps to the door, you have gone back in time. This is a traditional building, inside and out, from the solid wood door and marble steps to the bedrooms with their quaint old furniture. I had a second floor room with balcony facing the sea, it was magical. Go for the cold buffy at breakfast. The local olives, ham and cheeses are superb but leave yourself some room for the traditional cheese patties (tyropitta). For second course, there are some delicious jams and halva. Some guests go for the egg and bacon and doughnouts, but why when you can get them elsewhere? Only thing they coud do better is keep the coffee warm but I can live with that. It is close to some wonderful restaurants where you can have dinner while watching the sun go down over the sea.

Yes it is an old hotel but very attractive. the bohemian decor and the vintage furniture makes it quite romantic . ideal for holidays . The rooms are not big but we din't stay much inside the room because the location is by the sea, full of shops and entertainment

Το ξενοδοχείο στεγάζεται σ ένα νεοκλασικό κτήριο, στο λιμάνι, σε πολύ βολική τοποθεσία για κάποιον που θέλει να μείνει στο κέντρο και να επισκεφτεί το Ναό της Παναγίας, κοντά σε ταβέρνες και καφέ.Μείναμε στο ισόγειο, σ ένα δωμάτιο στενόχωρο.Η καθαριότητα ανύπαρκτη, οι πετσέτες με στίγματα, το μπάνιο μικρό και η ντουζιέρα ομοίως, τα παντζούρια γέρικα και σκουριασμένα,το πάτωμα παμπάλαιο και βρώμικο, το πρωινό φτωχό και σερβιρισμένο σε δισκάκι σαν σε εκστρατεία και ο κύριος στη reception μετά βίας μας μιλούσε .Χρήζει ανακαίνισης και γενικής καθαριότητας.
