Stayed for two nights, it was quiet and relaxing ~ The smart curtains in the room have a good blackout effect. In the morning, when I opened the curtains, the sunlight came in directly, which was so comfortable. Sitting on the terrace, I could see the smoke from the kitchen, which was full of warm smells. You can walk around the village and eat and drink there. It is very convenient to go to Guoqing Temple, and parking is also very convenient. Come back in the summer.

It's a warm place, it feels like home. The room is neat and clean. The lady boss is super nice. Seeing that we are bigger, she upgraded the room type for us for free, with a larger and wider bed 🛏. It's super comfortable to sleep in. Water bottles, Dental equipment is also divided into two types: disposable and ordinary, non-slip floor mats, floor towels, small details are everywhere, the boss lady is so considerate! Breakfast on the second day was the highlight. The rice porridge cooked on the earthen stove was fragrant and glutinous, and the local baby corn was so sweet. The porridge was paired with authentic local specialties, plus steamed buns and steamed buns, which were nutritious and delicious. It is very close to Guoqing Temple. I’m an international traveler from California, USA, and this was the best hotel I have ever stayed in! I normally book only five star hotels for my family (my husband, four year old, and myself) and this hotel in Tiantai truly blew us away. The design and decor is gorgeous - it transports you to a zen garden complete with sophisticated greenery and koi pond. The koi pond is beautiful and the fish are so healthy. The hotel staff was also extremely kind and accommodating, Miss Zhang walked us to a restaurant the first day we arrived and DingDing was really sweet to our four year old son. The service was the best and I didn’t feel like I had issues communicating, even with my limited Chinese, and with my family not speaking any Chinese. My husband had work calls with California at a ridiculous hour (4 am to 8 am!) and they let him use the tea room for his video calls. The value for this place is also amazing - this was the least expensive hotel I have stayed in, and also the best! I really feel like this hotel was the passion project of someone who had a grand vision and great taste. The Le Labo toiletries were such an unexpected treat. I have family in Tiantai so I will definitely be back and I can’t wait to stay here again!
