Hotels in Binjiang Road/Xiao Bai Lou/Five Avenue Scenic Area, Tianjin

Owner of apartment was friendly and honest. Check in via WeChat as door pin will be given. Room service done daily with topping up of bottled water, toilet/tissue paper and clearing of bins. Room was clean, slippers provided too. Owner will send items bought online to the room, which is a plus! Apartment also has washing machine and microwave oven and a full-sized fridge. No cutlery and utensils though but we ate out most of the time. Location-wise, very convenient to take bus and metro (can walk to 小白楼 line 1 or 徐州道 line 4) and its next to 天津国贸购物中心 by Capitaland. Walking distance to 五大道 tourist spot too. Will recommend this place for budget travellers.

I stayed with family for two nights and got room on the 22nd floor, which afforded a splendid view, especially at night. The hotel is very close to the subway station, which is very convenient to explore the city. Breakfast was good with both Western and local food items. However, if they could add more options for juices, it will further make breakfast better. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

It's very close to the Tianjin Eye, and our room offered a spectacular, expansive view of it. Upon entering the lobby, Serena Qiu greeted us with a warm smile and enthusiastic service, guiding us to the front desk. There, the charming Hanah Zhao attentively listened to our preferences and professionally helped us select a room. The room itself was unexpectedly satisfying, exceeding all our expectations. Lululiu then graciously assisted us with our luggage and escorted us to our room. This 'super five-star' service made us feel incredibly welcomed and warm, instantly melting away the day's fatigue. In a highly competitive hotel industry, the staff's ability to maintain such genuine enthusiasm for serving guests is truly commendable. It clearly reflects a strong, service-oriented culture championed by the leadership, ensuring such thoughtful and professional service. Even during check-out, when the concierge was busy, the Front Office Manager personally stepped in to assist us with our luggage. Encountering such warm and welcoming service from the very first day of our trip was a true delight. We are deeply grateful to all the hotel staff for their hard work, which contributed to making our journey so pleasant and memorable. A great overall choice if you're visiting Tianjin to explore the Hai River and catch the light show, offering excellent value for money! **Facilities:** The hotel's amenities are generally decent, although the shower head in the bathroom was quite stiff and difficult to adjust. **Cleanliness:** I found black pen marks on the bedsheets. I called housekeeping to get them replaced, and the attendant who helped me was very friendly and enthusiastic. **Location:** The surroundings are quite pleasant, and transportation is very convenient. **Service:** The service overall was excellent and very welcoming.

The location was great, very clean, and the stuff was very helpful, especially Xiao Dan. We left something at the hotel and she sent it back to us. Highly recommended!!!

The room was very new, the bedding was very comfortable, and the view was great. However, only two of the three elevators were operating, and even only one was working when I checked in on Saturday afternoon. The rooms were all above the 40th floor, so the wait for the elevator was a bit long. I checked in at 3 PM on Saturday and was told that the room hadn't been cleaned yet and asked to wait. After my insistence, they initially offered to upgrade my room type, but then said they needed the manager's approval, and the manager was nowhere to be found. Finally, after 30-40 minutes, I was finally able to check into my reserved room. It's understandable that the room was fully booked on the weekend, but if it says check-in is after 2 PM, they should accommodate the customer's needs no matter what. If I hadn't argued, I would have been left waiting for a long time, and then I'd have been left wandering around. I don't think this is the kind of advice a professional hotel should give to its guests. They gave me a gift as an apology, but I don't think it was a good solution. It still left me with a less than pleasant stay.

Facilities: The elevators are incredibly fast, and the rooms are well-equipped with excellent soundproofing. Cleanliness: The room was spotlessly clean, not a speck of dust anywhere, and even had a subtle, pleasant fragrance. Environment: The location is superb, making it extremely convenient for visiting Wudadao or Binjiangdao – perfect for a city walk. From the room, you can enjoy views of Tianjin Station and the city's light show. Service: Check-in was quick and efficient. All the staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and professional. I initially only booked for one night, but because the experience was so good, and I happened to have some free time the next day, I decided to extend my stay for another night. This is a highly satisfying hotel! I highly recommend it!

She truly embodies the essence of The Astor's 'century of service.' Our stay was absolutely fantastic value for money, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to all my friends! The next time we're in Tianjin, we will definitely choose The Astor Hotel again!

The room was spotless, and the front desk service was excellent. Xiao Bailou and Langxiang Jie are just across the street. Kiessling Western Restaurant, the Cultural Street, and Subway Lines 1 & 4 are conveniently located right by the hotel. Wudadao (The Five Great Avenues) is only about a 5-minute walk, making it incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and getting around. Breakfast was plentiful, and the restaurant staff were very warm and attentive. Our room offered distant views of the Hai River. I accidentally left my sun-protective jacket when checking out, and Felix at the front desk promptly arranged for it to be couriered back to me after I called. I'm very grateful! It's an excellent hotel, truly fantastic! 👍🏻 I always choose Binjiang Kailong Hotel whenever I come to Tianjin, and I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit! 😁
