Owner of apartment was friendly and honest. Check in via WeChat as door pin will be given. Room service done daily with topping up of bottled water, toilet/tissue paper and clearing of bins. Room was clean, slippers provided too. Owner will send items bought online to the room, which is a plus! Apartment also has washing machine and microwave oven and a full-sized fridge. No cutlery and utensils though but we ate out most of the time. Location-wise, very convenient to take bus and metro (can walk to 小白楼 line 1 or 徐州道 line 4) and its next to 天津国贸购物中心 by Capitaland. Walking distance to 五大道 tourist spot too. Will recommend this place for budget travellers.

The Pan Pacific Hotel in Tianjin boasts an excellent location with convenient transportation, standing tall as a landmark visible from afar. It's very close to the Tianjin Eye, and our room offered a spectacular, expansive view of it. Upon entering the lobby, Serena Qiu greeted us with a warm smile and enthusiastic service, guiding us to the front desk. There, the charming Hanah Zhao attentively listened to our preferences and professionally helped us select a room. The room itself was unexpectedly satisfying, exceeding all our expectations. Lululiu then graciously assisted us with our luggage and escorted us to our room. This 'super five-star' service made us feel incredibly welcomed and warm, instantly melting away the day's fatigue. In a highly competitive hotel industry, the staff's ability to maintain such genuine enthusiasm for serving guests is truly commendable. It clearly reflects a strong, service-oriented culture championed by the leadership, ensuring such thoughtful and professional service. Even during check-out, when the concierge was busy, the Front Office Manager personally stepped in to assist us with our luggage. Encountering such warm and welcoming service from the very first day of our trip was a true delight. We are deeply grateful to all the hotel staff for their hard work, which contributed to making our journey so pleasant and memorable. Pros: Good location next to Hai river, Close to popular attractions such asTianjin Eye, Riverside walk, St Mary's Catholic church, old Cultural old streets, DaBei temple etc. Comfortable spacious executive deluxe room with solid well designed furniture 3 clothes washer & dryers in laundry room on L2. Gym & Yoga room There is Chinese Halal cafe serving authentic northern Chinese cooking and alcohol lic beverages. Cons: only 2 lifts servicing the whole hotel ( 300 rooms over 7 floors). Breakfast buffet seating like canteen as well as canteen food quality. Our executive deluxe room at level 7 (top floor) overlooking dirty roofs of neighbouring old buildings.Room no tea cup.

The Hai River itself offers picturesque scenery, with its night views being particularly captivating, perfect for a leisurely stroll, enjoying the river vistas, and immersing oneself in the city's atmosphere. Our butler, Aiden, provided thoughtful and efficient service, always attentive to our needs. The overall attention to detail was exceptional. Our spacious room featured a full river view window and was well-appointed with both a bathtub and double sinks.

A great overall choice if you're visiting Tianjin to explore the Hai River and catch the light show, offering excellent value for money! **Facilities:** The hotel's amenities are generally decent, although the shower head in the bathroom was quite stiff and difficult to adjust. **Cleanliness:** I found black pen marks on the bedsheets. I called housekeeping to get them replaced, and the attendant who helped me was very friendly and enthusiastic. **Location:** The surroundings are quite pleasant, and transportation is very convenient. **Service:** The service overall was excellent and very welcoming.

The hotel is located on Jiefang North Road, surrounded by distinctive buildings, and it's also very close to Jiefang Bridge on a short walk. The room was very comfortable, and there were thoughtful touches like masks, earplugs, and tissues available for guests to use near the elevator. The breakfast was excellent.
