Tianjin Hexi District 5-star Hotels

I stayed at this hotel for one night during an overnight trip from Beijing, and I wanted to share my experience. Upon arrival, I took the subway to the hotel. The walk from the station was a bit challenging because the roads are currently being refurbished, which meant there were no markings. This made crossing the street quite confusing and a little unsafe! When I checked in, the staff member at the front desk didn’t speak much English. She handed me the room key without explaining which floor I was on or where the elevator was located, so another staff member had to assist me. The front desk was quite busy, as several guests were checking out at the same time. I also requested to include breakfast in my fee, but I don’t think she understood me. As a result, I ended up paying for breakfast the next morning. I arrived at 9 AM, but the selection was quite limited. I didn’t use the hotel facilities, but I did take a look at the gym and pool, which are open to the public. The shower in my room provided shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel, and having a bathtub was a nice touch! One thing to note is that the hotel is open to the public, which made it quite busy during my stay. There was a wedding happening when I arrived, and later that evening, I encountered a birthday party. This meant there were many non-guests around, which made me feel a bit uneasy, especially as a solo female traveler. Being in the elevator with some drunken guests was particularly intimidating when they tried to strike up conversations. Overall, I wouldn’t rate this hotel five stars. Also, keep in mind that there’s no massage spa available. While I didn’t order room service, there are options for both local and Western food, including pizza.

Although I checked in again more than half a year later, Zora at the front desk recognized me immediately and thoughtfully helped me and my daughter arrange adjacent rooms. The bellman was polite and professional. Breakfast is served at the Renaissance Hotel next door, with a wide variety of Chinese and Western options. My daughter used the gym and the butler service was prompt and considerate. The quality of Marriott cannot be said enough!

The comfortable bed provided me with a restful night's sleep, and the amenities, including the well-stocked minibar and luxurious toiletries, added an extra touch of indulgence to my stay. One of the highlights of my experience was the dining options at the hotel. Whether I was enjoying a sumptuous breakfast buffet or indulging in a gourmet dinner at the hotel's restaurant, every meal was a culinary delight. The diverse menu offered something for every palate, and the quality of the food was exceptional. The hotel's facilities were also impressive. I made full use of the fitness center, which was equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, and I even had the chance to relax and unwind in the spa, What truly set Crowne Plaza apart, however, was the impeccable service. Every staff member I encountered went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction, from the concierge who helped me plan my day to the housekeeping staff who kept my room pristine. Overall, my stay at Crowne Plaza Hotel was nothing short of fantastic. From the luxurious accommodations to the exceptional service, every aspect of my experience was top-notch. I can't wait to return for another memorable stay.

The service at the business hotel is very good. Ge Rui and Chen Yingmiao at the front desk upgraded the room type, assisted in issuing the invoice, and personally led us to the room, which was very efficient. When checking in, I muttered to my colleague, ”The weather in the north is so dry. I forgot to bring moisturizer. It was a mistake.” Then when I got to the room after dinner, I saw the Yanyuan customized moisturizer (Tianjin hotels do not actively provide disposable products). This is the best service I have encountered in so many business trips to the north, so I specially wrote down the name, it must be 5 Star!

Hahahaha, Renaissance is also quite good! When checking in, she recognized that we were here for the concert and took out a small card with a Bubu sticker for us to choose. The reception in the lobby was very friendly The room booked in advance is quite worth it. At this price, you can book a twin suite during the concert. So lucky. The room is quite large, and two toilets solve a lot of problems, hahahaha Suggestions: There are no cotton swabs in the bathroom. The dressing table is dim and the wall lamp cannot be turned on Administrative courtesy: There are afternoon tea and happy hour. Whether it is breakfast or afternoon tea, it is quite average. When checking in, the front desk told us that there are executive courtesy, but the room card cannot be swiped to the 11th floor. I asked a staff member who might be an intern on the first floor, and he said bluntly: Oh, then you don’t have this authority. 🙂 Then we found the front desk staff and said to take us to swipe the card.

First of all, I would like to thank the front desk staff for their enthusiastic help. I had a cold these two days, and they sent me honey hot water in time when I entered the room. The personalized service is really good. It reflects the warmth of management. The lobby is very cozy and the environment is very comfortable. The room facilities are very complete, and the breakfast variety is diverse. Every dish is to my taste. The waiters will greet me wherever I go! Highly recommended to everyone!

This May Day, I brought my parents and children to Tianjin for a trip. I had a warm experience far beyond my expectations at the Qingju Hotel next to the Xiaobailou subway station on Wudadao! When checking in, the front desk lady noticed that the child had been staring at the small kite on the decorative stand, and immediately smiled and said: ”If you like it, I'll give it to you!” The child jumped and danced with the kite, saying that this was the first gift he received in Tianjin, and even the elderly were delighted. Unexpectedly, the child accidentally broke his knee in the scenic area in the afternoon and couldn't stop crying. After returning to the hotel, Manager Bai Chen squatted down and comforted him softly: ”Let's ask the magic aunt to turn into a painless Band-Aid!” She quickly brought the medicine box, carefully cleaned the wound with iodine cotton swabs, and took out cartoon Band-Aids and small toys, successfully turning the crying into laughter. What touched me even more was that when I learned that the child was injured, the restaurant specially cooked yam millet porridge and sent it to the room, and attached a handwritten note: ”Baby, get well soon!” The room aunt not only prepared children's non-slip slippers in advance, but also thoughtfully adjusted the room temperature to the most comfortable state. Considering that we were traveling with the elderly, the staff took the initiative to help us plan the route of the scenic spots and recommended food suitable for the elderly and children. From the surprise of giving a small kite, to the professional treatment of the wound, to the intimate service provided by all the staff, every detail made people feel warm. This trip to Tianjin was due to the care of Qingju Hotel, which not only healed the child's small wound, but also made our whole family remember the enthusiasm of the city of Tianjin! Highly recommended to families traveling with the elderly and children, this is the most reassuring harbor on the journey!

The room was spotless, and the front desk service was excellent. Xiao Bailou and Langxiang Jie are just across the street. Kiessling Western Restaurant, the Cultural Street, and Subway Lines 1 & 4 are conveniently located right by the hotel. Wudadao (The Five Great Avenues) is only about a 5-minute walk, making it incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and getting around. Breakfast was plentiful, and the restaurant staff were very warm and attentive. Our room offered distant views of the Hai River. I accidentally left my sun-protective jacket when checking out, and Felix at the front desk promptly arranged for it to be couriered back to me after I called. I'm very grateful! It's an excellent hotel, truly fantastic! 👍🏻 I always choose Binjiang Kailong Hotel whenever I come to Tianjin, and I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit! 😁

15 years in China, and if there’s HomeInn, I never hesitate to book the room, it’s always about comfort and best locations matching the great price. Here it was another wonderful stay, with the 24 hour front desk, excellent service, polite and friendly staff. The Lobby, the room and the restaurant- all just perfect. The breakfast was out of any expectations, served awesome coffee, pastries, butter and variety of jams on behalf of European meals, together with ordinary Chinese food of course. Location is just right, I grabbed the bike and explored the manor part of the foreign concessions complex in no time. Just opposite the hotel there’s a gorgeous Concert Hall, so you also easily can have a look at it and other attractions beside.
