We reviewed our records and found no report of an incident such as what was described with your child, as without knowing what took place, we were not able to offer any followup or assistance at the time. We always recommend unusual incidents that occur in the hotel are reported to our team immediately, so we are able to address as a priority. We’d also recommend you stop past the front desk as you depart to verify the final invoice is correct, as that allows us to correct any discrepancies or mistakes before the final payment is processed. Whilst we try to avoid mistakes such as this, at times they do happen, and thanks for flagging the error after the team processed your express checkout. It's disappointing to hear you felt you were let down; our guests love our location right next to Sydney Harbour, and I'm surprised to hear you felt the room was noisy as it does not overlook Hickson Road. I expect the talking you overheard is from people walking across the boardwalk that is next to the hotel right on the Harbour, rather than a road. I'm also sorry to hear you felt our service was poor. I would love to know more information about your experience. If you are interested in sharing more details, please contact me directly. Finally, whilst we do all possible to assist guests with late checkouts, our standard checkout time is 11:00 a.m., which we share transparently on the website.
