Hot spring Hotels in Tendo

It took us about 15 minutes from Yamagata airports to the hotel by a taxi. Located in a cozy area and we could see the mountains covered with snow in the distance (we visited here in January 2024). All of the facilities are clean and the Japanese garden in the courtyard is very atmospheric. The hot springs is also very large and clean, and bathing while looking at the snow was an extremely valuable experience. We took dinner(Yamagata beef sukiyaki) and breakfast here, they were really nice to say at least. The service was also excellent, absolutely.

The hotel staff is very nice. The food is so delicious. The room is so big and the decorations are very good. The hot spring facilities are excellent. If you like cats, you will be very pleased to meet the landlord cat . It is a very beautiful cat. It's better to take a taxi to the hotel from Tendo JR station as it needs to take 15 minutes. It's not good to walk if the pavement is covered with snow.

I highly recommend this hotel and must stay for one night. It happened to be snowing when I went there, so it was a great time to take a dip outdoors, and the scenery was breathtakingly beautiful. Regret that I only stayed one night.

The Tendo Hotel is very good. When traveling in Yamagata Prefecture, although Yamagata Prefecture's Ginzan Hot Spring is more famous, it is difficult to book. One day I chose Tendo for the hot spring bath. The services and facilities of Tendo Hotel are very good, and the Yamagata beef sukiyaki for dinner is also delicious. The hotel is conveniently located. If you go to Yamagata Prefecture, in addition to the famous Ginzan Hot Spring and Zao, it is also recommended to go to Tendo to relax.

1. There are quite a lot of entertainment items prepared by the hotel. There are bartenders, roast marshmallows in the evening... etc., and the atmosphere is very good. 2. Stayed for two nights, dinner provided a different meal, drinks provided a variety of choices; although the breakfast buffet was the same, the next day, I specially prepared soup products, and I felt the intention of the hotel. 3. The next day, the room did not replenish drinking water, not sure if it was only provided once or forgotten; there was only one vending machine in the hotel, but the two days of living were sold out. 4. There seems to be free buckwheat noodles at certain times, so I am not sure if I don't eat them in particular; the room type with a courtyard also provides a 24-hour bar, with drinks, biscuits, and fruit.

The location of the hotel is not bad, there are local shops, drugstores and supermarkets next to it. Very convenient for people who like to go shopping  Starbucks is also next door , I want to buy a lot of souvenir options The service of the hotel is very friendly. The fly in the ointment is that the facilities of the soup house are simpler than other hot spring hotels.  but overall it is a place to stay worth choosing
