Pet friendly Hotels Telford

Where to begin with this one? Firstly i requested to cancel as i was coming down with COVID like symptoms. Ramada Telford seem to not mind that though, so that request was denied (no offer of another stay, or partial refund, nothing). Felt better day of, and decided to travel. On check-in (nor on the website, photo attached) i wasn't told anything about the pool being out of service. Turns out it was. No offer of a full or partial refund. Nothing. Luckily, Trip have stepped in with a good will gesture. Spoke to some people (named below) by email afterwards and basically told ”nothing they can do” and ”it's trip's fault” that the website didn't reflect that their pool had been out of action since DECEMBER. Bed very comfy room was okay a little bit dated and basic. The bar was tiny and not very welcoming. The food however was the best I have ever had can’t explain how much we enjoyed our dinner. The steak was possibly the best I have ever tasted. The breakfast was good as always. Staff were so welcoming in the restaurant and couldn’t do enough to help.

Having read some recent negative reviews I was not expecting much but from my scores it was first class. Good easy to get to place and just a short walk to the main town, we arrived early but were able to check in - very friendly reception staff and gave us all the information we needed. All areas from reception to bar and corridors were well presented and clean and modern look, the room on ground floor was a good size with all facilities required [ nice touch Steph the house keeper left a lovely note ] We had a window which opened and nice green space looking towards a park. very quiet room. Leisure facilities were first class and not over busy (you did have to book the pool but not an issue}. Service at the bar was quick and staff very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was very good with good selection of hot and cold food. One stand out point was the hotel was well staffed which helped make for a first class experience.

I stayed here with 2 others for 2 nights to attend an event. It was perfect for our needs. Very nice room that was exceptionally clean and a fantastic walk-in shower. Having lots of parking and being near lots of shops and restaurants was very helpful. It was very easy to walk to places I needed to be. Breakfast was good! Nothing exceptional but the continental selection did the job and despite limited hot food I could still make myself some nice bacon sandwiches. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Very affordable and would definitely stay again!

Decent location for one night stopover. Staff were friendly and efficient. Room pretty basic but all okay for what we paid. Downfall was the noise early morning, being woken to trucks beeping and reversing at 7am on a Sunday isn't my idea of a good night's sleep (which is all we really needed, this was the followed by trolleys clanking and banging, so think this is a real downfall to what should have been a nice little stopover. I advised the receptionist and she said it was the deliveries....which I understand are needed ....but not 7am on Sunday surely and if so some more thought for those sleeping. Sadly this affected my overall rating as really you pay to have a good sleep but I didn't get that.

We had the most wonderful stay at Heritage View Guest House for 2 days celebrating my in laws diamond anniversary. When I was looking for accommodation near the Ironbridge I wanted to make sure it was near the town and somewhere extra special for the occasion. From the moment the lovely host Julie greeted us at the guesthouse and showed us the beautiful views of the Ironbridge from the bedroom windows, I knew I had made the best choice of where to stay. The rooms very lovely, we were spoilt with home made cakes and a choice of perfectly cooked breakfast too. Julie was so warm and welcoming and I would highly recommend her guesthouse if you are looking for somewhere to stay near the Ironbridge.

Wow what can I say ,couldn’t get a more perfect place to say , will and his staff are the most helpful and friendly people, both myself and my friend are partly disabled , nothing was to much trouble for them ,and they offer to help was genuine , ,our room was lovely , room was spotlessly clean bed was so comfortable , the breakfast hamper was fantastic and topped up every morning ,,100% on every thing , we will be back in June , ( we two ladies well over the age of 60 ,have found our getaway hotel ) thank you again will
