A wonderful stay to celebrate a special anniversary. Very warm welcome and attentive management staff. Superb food and comfortable room. Look forward to a return visit!

Just returned from my son and his wife's wedding held here .From the moment we arrived we arrived we were made extremely welcome by the staff ,nothing was too much trouble and they were warm and friendly and just made it seem like a happy place . The room that was hosting the ceremony was lovely and romantic and again the staff including a harpist were wonderful . Now to say the wedding meal was delicious would be an understatement, it was probably one of the best meals I've eaten in many years ,all three course cooked and served to perfection ,I had duck to start ,beef as main ,and a beautiful cheese cake as sweet ,absolutely delicious. We then checked in to our rooms ,which was a beautifully appointed room ,with a massive comfortable bad ,power shower and just a lovely decorated space. The separate room were the nights entertainment was held was equally just as inviting a great lit dance floor and separate bar .The bar prices were very reasonable and we had a great time celebrating till late. After a great night's sleep we were treated to the most delicious breakfast feeling very happy ,so all in all this wedding reception was a 1000% success and I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone involved in making our memories ever lasting and I can't recommend this establishment highly enough Thank you so much 💓

I have been twice now for work in the area, it’s a lovely hotel with friendly staff. Nice good size rooms and good service and food. Slightly outside town and in an industrial estate but quiet and pretty.

As a birthday gift for my Granddaughter's 4th birthday, this event exceeded mine and my daughter's expectations and my granddaughter was in heaven! The 4 princesses were enchanting, attentive and professional - ensuring all of the children were involved and enjoying their experience. They were exceptional! Lots of interaction, dancing and singing. The Hotel - easy to find and good parking. Event staff - Professional, friendly, super helpful and efficient Afternoon tea - Wow! you will not go hungry! Hot and cold food - vegetarian sausage roll was lovely. When my sandwiches arrived, the cheese ones had pickle on, which I don't eat - I explained to the staff and they happily brought me fresh plain ones. Tea/coffee refills. Beautiful cakes and scones. The only thing to consider is that the children's afternoon tea comes in a box and has 2 big slices of cake in there, so if you want to restrict the amount of sugar they have (without ruining their experience with tears), then you may want to open it for them before they spy the cakes! We had plenty to bring home too!!

Had my daughters baby shower here and attended a wedding week later both visits were pleasant and all staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble

The food is terrible and very expensive for drinks no organisation and the rooms we were in are not very clean and they don’t take in to account people who don’t drink they also gave out wrong meals and we were told that’s what we have do tough not very professional

Visited with my mum and sister on a Wednesday afternoon for afternoon cream tea as a birthday treat. I called a week before to book and advise on dietary requirements, which they catered for really well, bringing the sandwiches on separate plates. They explained what was in all the sandwiches and what each cake was. We had sandwiches, scones and two different cakes, plus all the tea and coffee we wanted (decaf tea too). Helpful friendly staff. We were seated in a lovely bright room, with only four tables in there. We felt relaxed, not rushed and were able to enjoy our time there. I have recommended to friends and would visit again.

Have just taken a short break here with two friends and can’t recommend the hotel highly enough. Guests are really cared for in every sense. Nothing is too much trouble. We’ll be back! Mary
